2nd time using Hart Rentals. Pickup was easy, car was clean and great! I would 100% recommend them and would rent from them again!

The car didn’t feel like it was in good condition it was all wobbly when driving and said oil change required and when texting the host I got no answers

First things first, the listing says they'll deliver anywhere, but after paying, I found out they wouldn't deliver to me. I had to Uber to Phoenix, 2.5 hours away, on my dime. I obviously would’ve paid for delivery of the vehicle. Please update your listing.

Upon pickup, I noticed the two front tires were balding on the outside. The guy assured me it was "normal." Alignment issues aren't normal and I don’t appreciate being given a vehicle with dangerous tires. I took pictures and video of this issue.

The car drives smoothly, gets good gas mileage (37 mpg), and has a great sound system. However, the backup camera doesn't work, which was a big deal for me. Also, the key breaks into 4 pieces every time I use it. I had to put it together every single time I turned the vehicle on and off. This was time consuming and extremely inconvenient.

The AC leaks Freon, I’m familiar with the sickly sweet chemical smell. I’ve had leaks in my system before in previous personal vehicles. This is extremely dangerous. In fact, the contaminated air triggered a severe asthma attack.

Due the these issues, I had to end my trip early and have been without a vehicle since. Lots of stress and more money to get another working vehicle from a private host.

To top everything off, I also found heroin paraphernalia hidden under the seat, tucked away under fabric. While I understand it might have been overlooked, a more thorough cleaning would've uncovered it. This was particularly concerning, as it could've led to serious legal issues for me had I been pulled over and searched.

Customer service refused to replace the car when I reported these issues, telling me to drive it back to Phoenix without a replacement. I live nearly three hours away mind you, and this company had absolutely no sympathy for the fact that I had no vehicle to replace this rental nor did they do anything at all to resolve the issue other than an apology. An apology doesn’t fix the issues nor is it a professional way to run a business.

Unless these problems are fixed, I wouldn't recommend the vehicle. I certainly wouldn’t recommend the company. You would think I’d be offered compensation for my troubles. Yet I wasn’t. In fact I was messaged and asked to leave a five star review of the vehicle. That was honestly comical.

Choose a private host with a well-maintained vehicle. You get what you pay for.

The air work great and the car rode smooth.
