Guidelines
I post this disclaimer in hopes of avoiding future problems. During the many pleasant trips this vehicle has seen, there have been only a few issues, mostly with aggressive drivers. So, before you choose this vehicle, please look over the rules and understand what will be expected. Although the car is very fast (twin turbo V8 fast), I simply request that it be driven respectfully, the way a luxury sedan should be driven. If you enjoy driving powerful, well built German cars, this one is pretty amazing. If you are an overly aggressive driver (and you know), you should probably look for a different option. The power of this vehicle will be too tempting for you and the rental will likely not end well. I am not overly concerned with high speed. Your speeding tickets are on you. I am referring to abusive or consistent rapid acceleration, hard braking, and extended idling (terrible for a twin turbo V8). The Simple Rules: 1. Turo and I will not tolerate aggressive driving behavior. Aggressive driving is hard on engine and brake components and those things are expensive. I receive real-time GPS alerts showing excessively rapid acceleration, excessively hard braking, and long periods of parked idling, along with many other measurements of the vehicle's status/health. If you can drive like a responsible adult, we will get along very well. If you consistently drive aggressively, I will politely ask you to 'calm down'. If you can't calm down, your rental contract will be terminated early and a full refund will be offered for eligible remaining time on the contract. The last thing I ever want to do is interrupt a trip, but Turo and I stand firm on this issue in order to protect costly investments. 2. PREMIUM FUEL ONLY 3. Smoking of any kind is strictly prohibited in this vehicle. It is prohibited by Turo and rude. 4. Pets of any kind are strictly prohibited in this vehicle. 5. No glitter, under any circumstances!

Great vehicle. Easy pick up and return.

I live in Alaska, and the owner complained about leaving a black car running in 100 temps to cool it off. The alarm kept going off everywhere, embarrassing us. No one would valet the car because the alarm goes off for no reason. I notified the owner who did not attempt to find a solution. He said to leave the car unlocked. The car was descent, but the oil change warning signal kept appearing. Then, the check engine light came on the night before our rental ended, and the owner is trying to blame me for it. The owner did not call me once to say he received warnings about accelerating or braking too fast the entire time, but now he is trying to blame me for the check engine light. He also dropped off the vehicle a day before the rental was due, and it cost me $19 to park it overnight. I would never rent from him again!

Beautiful car! Made a several-hour highway trip very easy and comfortable. Steve was great to work with, friendly and good communication. Pick up and drop off was a breeze. I definitely recommend.

Car quality was excellent, host was quick to respond and extremely helpful. We had a mechanical issue that resolved itself but overall we would highly recommend renting from Steve again.
