Description

My Nissan leaf has a 24KWA battery, but it is almost brand new. It has all 12 bars on the battery guage. EPA estimated range is 84 miles on a single charge. I found this to be fairly accurate. Its all about how you drive, temperature, AC setting etc. It really is fast off the line and fun to drive. Fast starts are one of the things that diminish range though. I'll leave the 110v charging cord in the trunk. It has the fast charging port to charge up to 50KWA. Bluetooth and built-in GPS works. Go Green.

Car had a faulty charger cord, tried working with host for hrs to get car charged finally contacted turo support they told me to h as ve it towed so I wouldnt owe more money. Took pics before tow showed finally at 3am, host then lied saying car was nasty and was returned over 20 hrs late then proceeded to send harassing messages saying I was wrong for contacting turo this matter is still on going. Back away before it's to late

Jim's response

The charging cord has never ever been faulty. Having my car returned back way late and unnecessarily towed to my house around 4am was nerve wracking. My car was smoked in and dirty. She tried claiming my car had mechanical issues apparently to not only to get a completely free trip, but to try and charge me for the unnecessary tow. I'm just so glad Turo vindicated me. My car is with a happy guest as we speak. Driving electric is fun. Just don't try running it out of juice, and make sure to charg

Jim was great. He cleaned and disinfected car. He made sure I was comfortable with the controls over the car and went over everything. Real nice guy and if I need to rent again would definitely go with Jim.

So, I didn’t exactly get to finish my trip because of unforeseen circumstances, but Jim (the owner) is amazing! He was also thrown some curveballs and was a great sport about it and really was helpful and patient with me. Great communication.

Jim's response

My guest had never driven an Electric car before. My leaf has a new battery, so it has full original range of 84 miles. This was fully explained to her along with many charging tips. Monshellia proceeded to drive in my car until the battery was completely depleted. I spent hours assisting her. I found a good Samaritan to help me push my car to an outlet provided by Lows. Over 2 hours later I assisted her in driving it to a level 2 charging and paid for the charging. My car also came back damaged
