When picking up the car, I called Jesus because I didn’t know if he was present or if I would get a code to get the keys. I called and he informed me he was there and I could come in for the key. I came in, retrieved the key & went to the vehicle to leave as it was cold—before leaving, upon taking photos of the car, I noticed the back tail light casing was busted as well as the engine light on. I immediately sent him a message of this concern because I didn’t want to get a ticket since the light was greatly damaged and could potentially go out. He informed me that he didn’t know that damage existed & that I shouldn’t be concerned cause the light is still working. (mind you he said he didn’t even know it was damaged until I mentioned it and showed photos) I told him I didn’t feel comfortable and would bring the vehicle back the next day in the day time due to my concern of this. He didn’t address the engine light concern. The heat never warmed up the vehicle, the car drove extremely rough and was just not a good vehicle to rent. I’ve rented on Turo a lot and this is the first not so pleasant experience I’ve had. I think he should’ve tried to understand my concerns more or make it right especially being than an initial 2 1/2 day rental ended up being less than 24 hours due to this. I think the car needs more TLC before being rented out again.

Yes the taillight was damaged (but still worked as shown in your picture) and has since been replaced. There were no other issues mentioned. You did like it enough to extend the trip 3 different times. So all those others issues just came out of nowhere. Lastly there have been multiple trips since yours, and no mention of anything you said.
