Pick up and drop off is a smooth process. The car drives beautifully its sleek and comfortable. I highly recommend taking it for a drive.

I'll preface this review with the fact it should be a 4.5 star and since it definitely deserved more than 4 stars, I'll have to round up to 5.
The good:
Extremely easy pickup. Car was respectably clean inside and out. Car seemed very solid and well maintained considering the mileage. It's a V8, mid-engined sports car that makes all the right noises. What's not to love?
The not so good:
First, the car has VERY dark tint on the front windows. Like you can't see anything out of the side view mirrors at night except the slight glow of headlights kind of dark. Not my cup tea and technically a ticketable violation in California. How much of a bummer would it be to get a ticket in a rental for something out of your control?
Second, this high performance machine that's advertised as having the Z51 package is currently shod with off-brand UHP All Season tires, not the OEM Michelin PS4S summer tires that are on it in the photos. For cruising down PCH in traffic with the top off I'm sure they're perfectly fine for the majority of people and allows the host to offer a great rental rate. Technically they're the correct size and they're round, but if you're looking to get a real taste of what the C8 has to offer, I suggest you rent from another host.
In summary, I would absolutely rent a more pedestrian car from this host again. Maybe not a performance car though.
