Description

The C-Max is a hidden gem and a great car. I have been driving this model of car for about five years now and they have been spectacular cars through and through. It is a plug-in hybrid so it offers some major savings on gas. With practice, it can get about 40MPG. It is also a very nimble car with very responsive steering on the independent rear suspension. It also has a battery that can take it about 15 miles. One fun thing I like to do is find public car chargers and recharge the car for free while exploring the local area. You can find the chargers using the plugshare app. Some great places with chargers I've found include Wesleyan college in Buchanan, canaan valley resort, Frederick Maryland, and the farmer's market in Morgantown. This model car has active sound cancellation and so road noise is very low. The sound system is very detailed. I have a USB stick of my favorite songs installed in the car so feel free to listen to them. The most played bands while driving are Le Loup and Strange Mangers. Car also has a navigation system, power liftgate, heated seats. In the winter, it will have Nokian Nordman 5 winter wheels and tires installed. The headlights are controlled by a rotating knob to the bottom left of the steering wheel. It usually is set at automatic. There is a tire inflator kit in the floor of the back passenger compartment. This car has a power liftgate which has a button on the bottom of the gate to close it. In the back hatch there is also ties for traction in mud, a sunshade, and the electric charger cable. Please, do not smoke in the car.

Faqs

  • What sort of charger does this car use?

There is a charge cable in the back of the car that can plug into a 120V outlet. Public areas have 220V chargers which can charge the car about 2.5x as fast. This is not compatible with the Tesla charger connection. The standard that it uses is called CCS.
