If you would like to change the duration of your trip, I will try my best to accommodate you BEFORE your trip ends. 🧼💦We will clean the vehicle before each rental. Please respect the next renter by bringing it back clean. Cleaning fees will apply for bringing the vehicle back excessively dirty, smelling of smoke, or excessive sand. • Do I need to wash the car upon return?

  We get asked this a lot and here is what we ask; clean the car enough to show that there is no damage (including scratches). Dirt and sand are ok but not in an excessive amount. We have carwash passes at BlueWave (Harlingen, McAllen, Brownsville, and San Antonio) and QuickQuack in Corpus Christi and San Antonio. You are more than welcome to take it through (it won't cost you anything). Clean it enough to show that there is no damage!

• Do I need to fill it up with gas when concluding the trip?

  You don't have to but we recommend it. If you don't fill it up, don't worry about it... we can fill it up for you after you return it and we will send you a receipt. If the gas costs $22.51 then you'll get an invoice for $22.51 plus a one time $10.00 charge... so a $32.51 total! This just covers our time to take it to the gas station. It's not unreasonable like the traditional car rental companies that charge something like $9.99 per gallon to fill up. With us it is easy... price of gas plus a one time $10 fee.

• What if I realized after I booked that I want some "Extras" for the trip like beach chairs, cooler, stroller, car seat, etc?

  No worries! All you need to do is modify the reservation and then add the Extras. Go to the Turo App -> Trips -> find the reservation -> Modify then modify the Extras. Many convenience items like beach chairs, beach wagons, car seats (front facing or rear facing), booster seats, beach umbrellas, coolers, etc can be rented for a small daily fee. This is extremely convenient for you and saves you time for your vacation!

• What if I have a flight delayed or if my flight comes in after the traditional rental car companies close?

  We hear this all the time. With the recent staffing shortages, many rental car companies close at 8pm or even 6pm. Several of them are not even open one or two days a week due to staffing shortages. The great news with renting with carvia, llc is we've got your back 24 hours a day! If your flight is delayed or if your regularly scheduled flight is after 8pm, we will do a remote/touchless option where we will detail where the vehicle is and how to get in once you arrive. Whether it's a 2:30pm flight or 2:30am you can pick your vehicle up with us!

• Do I have to pay for parking at the airport?

  If we are doing a remote/touchless handoff there can be a small airport fee... but good news... just upload the receipt and we will reimburse you for parking through CashApp, Venmo, or ApplePay.

• Will the vehicle be disinfected?

  Yes, the car is cleaned and disinfected between each rental per Turo's guidelines. You'll get a message through the Turo app once we disinfect the vehicle. Usually this happens between 2-24 hours prior to pickup!
