Thank you for considering our distinguished fleet for your next adventure. **Updated parking fee and shuttle information** •Effective October 1st, we are no longer able to offer free parking for Turo vehicles. You will be required to prepay $40 to cover parking for the vehicle. (Basically $20 each for the day you collect it, and the day you drop it off.) You can pay this fee through a link sent in the messages once your trip is booked anytime right up until you actually arrive and collect the car, but this fee will need to be paid before you can leave the garage with the vehicle. •Shuttle information There is a FREE 24 hour shuttle that you need to take to get to the “Park My Share” garage located at: 5730 W 98th St Los Angeles, CA 90045 •LAX travelers will need to head UPSTAIRS to departures, and look for the RED Shuttle stop signs located at each domestic terminal. You will need to get on the “Parking Spot Century” bus, a yellow bus with black dots all over it, that says “CENTURY” in giant letters on the front of it. A photo of the shuttle stop sign, and the correct yellow and black bus will be sent to you in the messages in the app, before your trip starts. Once the “Parking Spot” shuttle drops you off at the “Parking Spot” garage, you will need to take a quick 3 minute walk over to the “Park My Share” building next door, and take the elevator up to the 4th floor to collect the vehicle. Full details on this process as well as key information will be provided to you once you verify your ID and pay for your parking through a link that will be sent in the messages as well. I’m sorry in advance for any inconvenience this may cause you. Unfortunately this is how we are required to do things at this location moving forward. The 24 hour shuttle to and from the terminal to the garage is still absolutely free both ways. •If this parking exit fee is too much for you to absorb, I completely understand if you decide to cancel and rebook with another host, but I assure you we are still the most convenient option located closer to the terminal than most other hosts out there, and the direct shuttle is a single stop at the “Park My Share” building once you leave the airport property. Once you arrive, the clean, gassed up vehicle will be all ready for your immediate pickup, and all you will need to do is pull up to the gate and leave. I do understand this is less than ideal, and I appreciate your flexibility with the situation. You only need to pay the fee once when you pick up the car. •Just to clarify a few more notes about other fees… besides the actual daily rate for the vehicle, we as hosts do not set, collect, or receive ANY of the following fees you may see on your trip receipt; -Trip fees -Airport/LAX fees -Young Driver fees -Deposits of any kind •In fact, we as hosts are only paid out once the trip is completed and you have returned the vehicle. We have nothing to do with collecting any other money upfront. *You will still not see any delivery fees on your receipt for providing the vehicle to you at the “Park My Share” (LAX), this is still a free service. •I certainly understand any disappointment this may cause as last minute extras added on to your trip. Otherwise any car picked up at the garage location will be required to pay the parking fee. *Some of our vehicles may have Apple AirTags. Trust me when I tell you, absolutely nobody is actively monitoring your location on your trip, we just don't have that kind of time. AirTags are just a precaution for your protection and ours, in case the vehicle is stolen. Unfortunately that is quite common in LA, so it's very standard for most hosts to have some kind of tracking on the car, even if they do not disclose it upfront. Thank you! -Tom
