I had a mixed experience with my recent Turo rental. The communication from the host started off great, and I appreciated their responsiveness in the beginning. However, as the rental period approached, the communication dwindled, which left me feeling a bit uncertain.

When I picked up the car, I was disappointed to find that it was dirty on the exterior. It’s always nice to receive a vehicle in clean condition. Overall, it was just an okay experience. I’d recommend better communication and attention to cleanliness for future rentals.

Car was tops. Pristine and powerful! Like brand new. A little too much power and roar for me! But a lot of fun. People kept revving their engines next to me and trying to race. I was like (thinking), "no, man, I'm just going to a show tonight, I'm not about that life, I only got this whip for a day, man!" I ended up driving pretty carefully!

The pickup location was chill. If you're not coming from the airport but just from around town, it's pretty convenient, too. I noticed the gas tank was about half full after I left, but I informed the host and filled it to about 3/4 tank right before I returned it, and it was accepted back, so far, without any dispute. It wasn't a big deal, so I didn't take away any stars.

Enjoyed the fantastic deal to drive a fancy car for the special occasion night, which made me feel better about my car which is still in the shop.

Communication was a little off, I'm thinking perhaps due to mobile Internet issues. Host did everything possible to accomodate special requests to the best of their ability. Depending on the price and the type of car, would rent again. Turo's rental fees have gone up and aren't fixed, so it ended up being equal to the rental amount no matter how much that was. I hope that changes.
