• Q: What if I return the car with less fuel than when I started?

  A: That’s fine. You will be charged the cost to replace the missing fuel plus a $10 convenience fee, per Turo policy.

• Q: How clean should I return the vehicle, in order not to be charged a cleaning fee?

  A: Turo’s policy is clear on this (https://support.turo.com/hc/en-us/articles/360058472573-Charging-a-cleaning-fee). A simple way to describe it is “as clean as light use after a day”. A pre-paid cleaning fee will help cover additional, reasonable use that is not excessive and requires moderate cleaning that would otherwise result in a $50 moderate-cleaning fee. Anything that requires heavy or even excessive cleaning would result in greater fees, in excess of any prepaid cleaning fees. In particular, smoking or having pets result in an automatic $150 fee, on top of actual cleaning fees.
