Description

I'm a lifelong car guy and take great pride in keeping my cars clean, SANITIZED and safe, looking sharp, and in excellent working order! My goal is to make sure you have a fun, safe trip... plain and simple! My Mazda 3 Hatchback is economical (30+mpg highway on regular fuel), reliable, and fun to drive, with a surprisingly large cargo area with the back seats folded down. The Mazda 3 is quite comfortable and has lots of headroom and leg room (I'm 6'2" and it feels great!). This is a car that's great for both around-town trips (maneuvers easily in traffic and has blind spot warning) and great fun on the open highway and mountain roads. The handling is sharp and responsive - and the combination of four Bridgestone snow times and front-wheel drive assures you will go in the snow! This is the high-end model (Grand Touring) of the Mazda 3, so it's got a lot of fun and comfort features that you don't usually find in an economical car: heated leather seats (power driver's seat), power mirrors, bluetooth-capable, built-in navigation, and a Bose sound system (also plays CDs). You can drive it in automatic or clutch-free manual mode - and it has optional Sport mode. The multi-function "joystick" controlling the audio, telephone, navigation, etc. is located on the center console just aft of the shifter. It's user-friendly. I include the owner's manual for your reference, as well as sanitizing wipes. You can expect me to - provide the car in clean, sharp condition with a full tank of gas - disinfect the car between each trip - deliver the car at the agreed-upon location on time - provide option of no-contact pick-up via a lockbox attached to door handle (I'll text you the 4-digit code) - be available to answer your questions while you're using the car (best to text) I expect you to - treat the car with respect - pick up and and drop off the car on time - or call/text me if you're delayed - follow Turo's legal & safety rules - return the car in clean condition - be honest and communicate to me about any damage or issues That's it! Can't wait to make your rental an enjoyable, safe experience! JP

Faqs

  • How do I fold down the rear seats to use the full cargo area?

You have the option of folding down both or just one of the rear seats. 1. If you want to use the full cargo area, first move both front seats forward about half way. If you like to use just one side, you only need to move the driver OR passenger seat forward. Driver seat is a power seat and has a lever on the lower left side of the seat, near the door sill. Passenger seat is manual - grasp the metal bar below the front of the seat and pull it up to push the seat forward. 2. Open the rear hatchback by depressing the button along the bottom edge of the hatch. It's located just right of center, above the "H" on the license plate. 3. With the hatch fully open, you will see the "shelf" attached by 2 cables, one on each side of the hatch. Detach the cables by gently the plastic grommet UP and OFF. 4. Next, grabs the tray with both hands an pull up sharply toward you. The tray will pop out. Place it to the side. 5. Continuing to stand at rear of car reach in to push down the button on the top of the seat back, just to the right of the head rest. This releases the right seat to fold down. 6. Repeat on left side to fold down left seat. 7. Open the rear doors to fully fold down the seats. Voila! Lots of cargo space! Enjoy!
