Aloha, Please kindly take a moment to read these guidelines. No smoking/vape pens. No "off-roading" of any kind. Although we love our 🐾 pets, no animals, please. Last but not least: Please return our vehicle in the condition you received it. It is our absolute pleasure to host you, and we are very grateful for your patronage. However, we are not a big corporate business. We are just an ordinary family that takes great pride in preparing our vehicles for you. Thus, we thoroughly clean all our cars and disinfect them per "Turo policy" in between our reservations. We only humbly ask that you clean our vehicles before returning them. What does this mean for you? Ordinary usage is no biggie! If you spent your vacation poolside and drinking some delicious mai tais (lucky you), then our Turo can likely be returned as is. However, if you are more adventurous and spend a lot of time outdoors (beach, hikes, etc.), your vehicle must be cleaned of visible debris and excessive sand or dirt before returning. Again, visible debris and excessive sand or dirt are prohibited. Near the Turo-dedicated parking lot is a place called "Sudz." They have an automatic car wash and commercial car vacuums available at no charge when purchasing a car wash. It only takes a few minutes to clean the sand out of your vehicle. Similarly, nearby is also a Texaco gas station with a car wash and access to vacuuming. *Sending our vehicle through the car wash is not "required," but it is an highly appreciated gesture. Remember that per "Turo policy," the vehicleʻs gas must be returned full, and often our guests find it very convenient to simply gas up and clean in the same spot. In addition, Turo allows hosts to charge $150 for a cleaning fee (but I have never done it and donʻt want to do it) as a quick vacuuming only takes a few minutes. Mahalo for your understanding!
