The location is called Ahukini Flats. Located on Kapule Highway between the Ahukini intersection and the Kaana intersection. If you take an uber just type in Ahukini Flats or ask about the link for the shuttle service I work with.

I take great care in having the Fusion cleaned, inside and out with the gas tank full at the start of every trip so my renters can have a great experience. Show some Aloha by returning it the same way. There is a car wash called Sudz that has a full car wash starting at $15 and vacuums that you can get the sand out. Turo will fine up to $250 if it is returned dirty.You can avoid getting sand in the car by wiping your feet off before you get in if hanging at the beach, also please put a towel down to avoid wet spots on the seat. Please dont put sunscreen on in the car as it stains everything. If using surfboards, please use foam surf rack to not scratch roof of vehicle. If hiking when its rainy or muddy, please bring slippas (flip flops) with you to change into after the hike. Before getting in the car, take off your shoes, and wrap them in a bag to put in the trunk. Absolutely no off roading in the car. This means stay on paved roads. Do not go to Polihale as you will get stuck. It costs $500 and up to get a tow truck to go out there and get the car unstuck. 90% of the time they still won't come out. No Smoking, No pets unless service animals. Please return clean inside and out, with a full tank of gas. Most of all, enjoy this beautiful island!!

• When I choose airport pickup, where will I find the car?( LIH Airport)

  Turo cars are not allowed to park at the airport, however there will be a turo shuttle that will pick you up at Lihue Airport and take you to the turo parking lot where the vehicle will be located. Once you have your luggage, please proceed to the far end of Baggage Claim B where the Turo shuttle will pick you up. Show the shuttle driver your reservation if he asks, then get on the shuttle. I will communicate with you through Turo messaging or sms on the exact vicinity of the car the day of. Upon return, please try to park in the same vicinity as you found the car and allow at least 2.5 hours before your flight, so you can catch the shuttle.

• Is there anywhere I can't go on the island?

  Yes, Polihale State Park. The reason is its not a paved road and a lot of cars get stuck in the sand out there. Most tow companies don't like to go out there so you will literally be stuck. Please stay on paved roads.

• What type of gas does it take?

  Regular
