IMPORTANT EV RENTAL INFORMATION: • Battery Level on Return: The car will be delivered with a charge between 80-85% (which approximately 240 to 260 miles of range depending on driving style and how much you use the heat/AC). You are responsible for returning the vehicle with at least the same amount of charge it had when picked up. If you don’t, you will be charged a charging fee in accordance with Turo guidelines. • Pre-paid charging: To avoid charging fees, add prepaid charging as an add-on for $25. If you pre-pay for charging, please return the vehicle with a minimum 10% charge. • Charging level: To preserve battery life, please do not charge the battery more than 80% unless you need the range for a longer drive. • Tesla Superchargers: Use the Tesla’s navigation system to find the nearest Tesla superchargers. Guests are responsible for any charges accrued on Tesla Superchargers during their trip. I will pass the invoice to you for reimbursement at the end of your trip. • Non-Tesla Charging: There are dozens of low-cost (and sometimes free) EV chargers in the area that can add 25-35 miles of range per hour. I recommend using the PlugShare app to find non-Tesla chargers. • Operation: Guests are responsible for learning how to operate the Tesla Model Y (I can send video tutorials). FEATURES: • Extras: Make sure you add any extras while checking out: car seats, booster seats, strollers and a custom air mattress that fits in the model Model Y are all available. • Autopilot: Includes self-steering, self-braking, and cruise control (not FSD). • All-Wheel Drive: 0-60 in 4.5 seconds. • Wireless Phone Charger: Conveniently charge your phone on the go. • Tesla Charge Kit: Includes 110v chargers for home charging (this is the slowest way to charge and adds 3-5 miles of charge per hour) and adapters for 220v charging (requires 229v outlet). • Private Check-In: The car will be unlocked remotely, with 24-hour online support available. • Tesla App Access: A virtual key will be generated for you to control the car through the Tesla App. • Contactless Check-In/Out: The car will be unlocked remotely, with 24-hour online support available. ADDITIONAL POLICIES: • Cleanliness: Per Turo’s policy, please do your best to return the car in the same clean condition it was handed to you. I am not concerned with small amounts of dirt/dust from normal use, but any cars that are significantly dirtier may incur a cleaning charge. • No Smoking: No smoking/vaping of any kind allowed. Violators will be charged a fine in accordance with Turo’s policies. • Pet Policy: No pets or animals are allowed in the vehicle. • No Off-Roading: Teslas are made for the road, not the dirt.
