No pets! No smoking or vaping of any kind please! Pets, smoking and vaping are prohibited in this vehicle. The smells of smoke, vape and pets get into the climate control system. The pet hair gets stuck in the vehicles interior fabric materials. Removing these smells and these hair are both time consuming and costly. Charges will be applied if there are any odors, lingering smells and traces of any and all kinds of smoking, vaping or pets (cigarettes, marijuana, fragrances, air fresheners). Minimum cost for smoking/vaping smell removal and cleaning is $250 plus $25 processing fee. Minimum cost of pet smell and pet hair removal is also $150 plus $25 processing fee.

• What type of fuel does this car require?

  Premium 91 Octane must be used and this vehicle is not flex fuel. Not compatible with E85.

• How long does it take to charge?

  With the standard level 1 home charger that comes with the car (110 volts) it can take up to 12 hours. If you plug into a level 2 charger (240 volts) that can be commonly found at shopping centers and most charging stations it can take between 2-5 hours.

• Do I have to return the car with a full tank of gas?

  Although I appreciate it if all my cars are returned in the same condition as when they were picked up (clean, with a full tank) I understand you might be in a hurry and not have enough time to fill up the tank. For this service Turo will add a $10 Convenience Fee on top of the exact cost of the missing fuel. *Please also note, all first generation Volts are famously difficult to fill the fuel tank, they prematurely stop the gas pump multiple times while filling. This is well documented concern with Volt owners in California.

• Do I have to return a clean car?

  Please return the car the same way you received it. Combined Cleaning fees could be as high as $250.00 plus a $25 administration fee Cleaning Fee: $150 cleaning fee is charged when the returned vehicle needs to be; -vacuumed due to ( sand, crumbs or dirt ), -wiped and washed due to ( liquid spills, fingerprints on glass or dirty exterior ), -or emptied due to left behind ( food, cups and tissues, plastic bags, used straws and utensils , any and all trash that needs to be removed and thrown away. -please check underneath the seats too. -$250 cleaning fee is charged when the returned vehicle needs to detailed to remove all kinds of smoking smells, vaping smells or pet smell and hair.

• Can I Smoke or Vape inside this car?

  No, absolutely not. The fee for smoking or vaping in this car is $250 plus a $25 processing fee and you will be banned from Turo permanently.

• Are pets allowed inside this car?

  No pets please. Minimum cost for pet hair cleanup is $150 plus $25 processing fee.

• How do I pair the Bluetooth?

  Make sure Bluetooth is activated on your mobile device. On your MyLink screen, press Phone > tap Connect Phone > then tap Add Phone. On your mobile device, select your Chevrolet MyLink system in the Bluetooth menu. Confirm the PIN displayed on your MyLink screen matches, then press the Pair button. The two will now begin pairing. Your mobile device and Chevrolet MyLink system are now connected via Bluetooth.

• What happens if I go through a toll or receive a parking ticket?

  -When this car goes through the Fast Tack Tolls, the cost is automatically and immediately deducted from my pre paid toll account. To avoid paying twice for the tolls, please do not use your personal Fast Track Toll transponder in this car. I will ask for a toll reimbursement through the Turo app after your trip is over. -If you get a ticket, you can always pay for it on line, otherwise when I receive it in the mail, I will pay for it and ask for a reimbursement through the Turo app.
