Description

Experience Maui than in a 2018 Tesla Model 3 Fully Loaded Tesla. YES if comes with the FART Button and with Auto Pilot, Next Generation leather seats, Panoramic roof, Premium package with extended leather HEPA Biodefense filter, all weather mats and much more. Vehicle is in pristine condition. Will go up to 260 miles on a full charge. Can I make it to Haleakala on one charge with the Tesla? Yes. On the way up you will lose close to twice as many miles as you are driving but on the way down, with regenerative braking on, you will gain back about half. Enjoy yourself on the island In a Tesla!!! Are there any free charging stations on Maui? Many hotels and resorts offer free overnight charging. There are also several level 2 charging stations on Maui (check out www.plugshare.com) How do I start the car? Tesla key is a key card, like a hotel key card. Just tap that key card on the exterior of the car below the camera that is between the front door and the rear door on the drivers side to unlock the car. Once all passengers have exited the vehicle and all doors are closed, do the same to lock the car. When you sit in the drivers seat place the key card behind the cup holders on the center console. This will give you 30 seconds to put your foot on the break indicating you are ready to drive. Once your foot is on the break you can click the gear toggle (to the right of the steering wheel) into reverse or drive and you are on your way! If the 30 seconds expires before you have placed your foot on the break and you have removed the key card from the center console, you will have to place the key card back on the center console again and then place your foot on the break. How do I charge the Tesla? You can open the Tesla charging port two ways. 1. On the left side of the touchscreen is an overhead illustration of the car. There is a button that says "Port" on that illustration where the port is located (driver's side rear tail light). Push that button. 2. When the car is unlocked you can push on that rear tail light and the charging port will open. In the trunk cargo bin there is a CHAdeMO FastCharge adaptor. In the center console is a Level 2 Tesla charging adaptor that works with most Level 2 chargers on the island. Both adaptors must be plugged into the end of the charging cord at the charging station, then plugged into the Tesla's charging port before charging can begin. How do I open the trunks? On the left side of the touchscreen is an overhead illustration of the car. There are two buttons that say "Trunk" on that illustration where the trunks are located, one for the rear trunk and one for the front trunk. Push the button for the trunk you would like to open. How do I turn the car off? The car will turn off when you lock it and the mirrors fold in. There still may be a few sounds coming from the car as some fans continue to operate intermittently to cool the batteries. If the car is below 20 miles remaining the fans will no longer cool in order to conserve energy.

US$35/trip

Guidelines

1. The interior of the car must be returned clean just as it was picked up. (Do not take the car to a car wash, this may damage the tires and paint) 2. Please be mindful of sunscreen touching the seats. Sunscreen stains the leather seats. (Do not put sunscreen on right before you get in the car) 3. Car needs to be returned with 225 miles to be considered a full charge. If you are unable to fully recharge the car, please add on the Prepaid EV recharge in the turo app extras for $35. 4. No smoking is allowed in the car whatsoever. (This included marijuana) 5. No animals in the car. 6. Anyone who wants to drive the car must be listed on the Turo rental agreement and have provided us with their license. Only drivers listed and approved by Turo are insured and covered to drive the vehicle. 7. WARNING: There are some places on island that have rough terrain and the tesla cannot go. This is standard with all rentals without 4 wheel drive. Please do not attempt to go off-roading or on dirt roads 8. WARNING: Please do not go on the road on “back side of the Road to Hana”. The section of Highway 31 that is known as the Piilani Highway that goes around the southeast side of Maui towards Ulupalakua and the Kula Highway (Hwy 37). More specifically, we’re referring to the back side of the road to Hana as the section of road beyond the Kipahulu area, that’s counting down from mile marker 38.If you should have an accident or issue with the car while on the unauthorized section, you will be responsible for the rescue and repairs. ⚠️ No smoking is allowed in this vehicle. If the car smells of smoke or marijuana after a rental the renter will immediately be charged a $350 cleaning fee upon returning the car .⚠️
