The car is parked on Floor 1 of the parking garage inside of the West Plaza Tower building (located at 4700 Belleview Avenue, Kansas City MO 64112). The parking garage has two entrances (you can come in either one) and head up to Floor 1. Finally, if you drove to the vehicle, feel free to leave your vehicle in the same parking spot of the vehicle you are renting. Your vehicle can stay there as long as you are renting the vehicle!
The DO's, DON'Ts and Restrictions: Miles🛣️: The allowed miles for your trip are listed on Turo. The “Total miles included” on Turo is the limit for your entire trip. Please make sure you’re aware of the number of miles included for your trip. There will be a fee for additional miles driven; unless you select unlimited miles! This vehicle is not to be driven, taken or removed from the state of Missouri without prior permission of the owner, even if you have chosen "unlimited miles". Fuel/Gas ⛽: Please return the car with the same amount of gas as when you picked up the car (unless you purchased "premium fuel" add-on for your trip). Remember: 91+ octane (premium gas) MUST be put in the car upon fueling. You MUST leave your fuel receipt in the car in order to prove that you fueled the car with 91 octane (premium) gas. If you do not return the car with the same amount of gas, you will be charged the cost of the gas and a $30 fee for not returning the car with the same amount of gas. Car is lowered 🏎️: This car does not handle potholes, curbs or speed bumps. You MUST take all elevated surfaces at an angle or you will scratch, scrape or damage the vehicle. The vehicle will be thoroughly inspected upon your return. Cleaning 🫧: The car will be clean. Do NOT bring the car through a commercial car wash, you MUST powerwash at a self-help car wash and vacuuming before you return the car. If you pick up the car clean, but return the car dirty, you will be charged at least a $50 cleaning fee. The cleaning fee will be much higher if there is a scent present or you unlawfully smoked in the vehicle. You do not need to get a car wash if you prepay for the post-trip cleaning “Extra.” However, there will still be a $2,000.00 fee if there is any scent or unlawful smell of smoke (even if you already prepaid for the post-trip cleaning “extra”). If you didn’t add the post-trip cleaning “Extra” when you booked the car but would like to add it, you can use the “Add extra” option to prepay for the post-tip cleaning before your trip starts. Who can drive the car 👤: THE ONLY PERSON THAT CAN PICKUP THE CAR IS YOU, THE PRIMARY DRIVER. WE CANNOT RELEASE THE CAR TO ANYONE OTHER THAN THE PRIMARY DRIVER. The only document you need is your physical valid driver's license. Please make sure you have your physical valid driver's license because WE CANNOT RELEASE THE CAR TO YOU WITHOUT YOUR PHYSICAL VALID DRIVER LICENSE. Please upload a picture of your valid driver's license to the “Trip photos” section of this trip on Turo as well. Add additional drivers 👥: The only person that can pickup the car is you, the primary driver. We cannot release the car to anyone other than the primary driver. Here's how you can add additional drivers without an additional charge: https://support.turo.com/hc/en-us/articles/203990880-Are-my-passengers-allowed-to-drive-How-do-I-add-a-driver-. The name on your Turo account, the name on the driver's license uploaded to your Turo account, and the name of the person who picks up the car all need to match. Return 🔙: The car needs to be returned by the scheduled end date and end time listed on Turo. If you think you will not be able to return the car by your scheduled end date and end time listed on Turo, please use the “Change trip” and “Change trip length” options to extend your trip before it officially ends. If the car is not returned by the scheduled end date and end time listed on Turo, you will be charged an additional usage fee, a late fee, and an improper return fee. Tickets 🚓: If you get a parking ticket, please pay for the ticket right away. If you don't pay for the ticket as soon as possible, we will get a copy of the ticket in the mail and you will then be charged the following on Turo: The cost of the ticket, alll relevant processing fees administered by the issuing body, and a $30 processing fee per ticket. No Toll Pass (Kansas) 🌉: The car is not equipped with a toll pass. Please do not take any toll roads without paying the toll. If you take a toll road, we will get a copy of the toll in the mail and you will then be charged the following on Turo: The cost of the toll, all relevant processing fees administered by the issuing body, and a $30 processing fee per toll. Towed 🛻: If the vehicle is towed to an impound lot, it is your responsibility to retrieve the vehicle immediately. It is your responsibility to pay for all fees associated with the ticket, tow, and storage. Please contact Turo, (415) 965-4525, to get a copy of the rental contract and receive instructions on how to retrieve the vehicle. No smoking 🚭: Do not smoke in the car. This includes tobacco pipes, cigarettes, e-cigarettes, vaping, bongs or any other type of smoking device. There will be a $2,000.00 fee assessed against you if it is discovered that you smoked in the car. Follow the law ⚖️: Make sure you follow all applicable rules of the road. If you run a red light that takes your picture, you will have to pay a hefty fine and the traffic violation will go on your personal driving record. Seriously: 1. Don’t drink and drive; 2. Don’t text and drive; 3. Don’t smoke in the car (will result in $2,000.00 fee); and 4. Don't drive the car out of the United States (i.e. Canada or Mexico). Pets 🐕: Pets are not allowed in the car. However, service animals specifically trained to aid a person with a disability are welcome. Remove items upon return 🛫: Please remove all of your belongings and all trash before returning the car - including any parking permits, garage clickers, and keys on the keychain.
