Faqs

  • How does charging and fueling work?

Charging: There is a button on the remote with a picture of an electrical plug. Hold that button and the charge door should pop open. It is located just ahead of the driver's door. Sometimes the rubber seal sticks a little and you have to gently pry the door open. There is also a button to open the charge door on the driver's door inside the vehicle. Charging is completely optional and the car will drive more or less like any other hybrid once the battery is depleted. The engine is more or less a generator to provide power to the electric drive system so it will rev up and down and do it's thing independent of vehicle speed. Refueling: There is a button on the driver's door to unlock the gas door. Press the button and the instruments will say wait to refuel, then ready to refuel when it is unlocked. The button for the gas door is directly above the button for the charge door inside the vehicle.

Philip did an amazing job readying the car and making a late night pickup a pain free process. Car was in immaculate condition. Philip was communicative, friendly, courteous and thoughtful at every turn. When I come back to Hawaii, I hope that I have the opportunity to give him my business again. Thank you so much Philip!!

Philip was so extremely hospitable. He even left the cost of parking at the airport. The car was very clean and comfortable. Overall, for my first time using Turo, this was an absolutely amazing experience!

This vehicle was perfect for our trip. It had good mileage to the gallon and drives very well with good working AC. Plus Phillip gave very clear directions for pick up and returns making it very easy and stress free. Would definitely rent again.
