Are there any tolls or fees I should be aware of?
All of my vehicles are registered with The Toll Roads of Orange County (Fastrak). You are more than welcome to use the toll roads anywhere in any state! At the end of your trip, an automated invoice will be submitted to your receipt stating the toll charges. If you happen to incur any parking tickets, the city that issued the citation will send a fine to my address on file. Once I receive the violation, I will pay the ticket and submit it to you via Turo for reimbursement. As a courtesy, please let me know if you do find yourself in the unfortunate circumstance of receiving a parking violation.
Are there mileage restrictions?
I offer an allowance of 200 miles per day on all of my rental vehicles. If you think you will go over the allowed miles, you are more than welcome to purchase my "Unlimited Mileage" option that is available on all of my vehicles in the Extras section. Pricing varies based on vehicle type. Otherwise, you are more than welcome to extend your trip by an additional day or two to avoid going over the allowed miles. Otherwise, additional mileage fees may apply.
What documents do I need to rent a car?
Typically, you'll need a valid driver's license. Turo also requests a picture of the renter's driver's license as well as a selfie of them holding up their drivers license for verification, 24 hours before the trip starts.
Can I add an additional driver?
You are more than welcome to add an additional driver(s) to your trip so they can drive the rental vehicles while still being insured. Here is the Turo link for instructions on how to add an additional driver: https://help.turo.com/adding-a-driver-to-a-trip-HksENgV5
How does fuel work?
I will always ensure your vehicle is delivered with a full tank of premium (91) gas. If you don't have time at the end of your trip to bring the vehicle back at a full tank or simply forget to, no worries! I will gladly fill it up for you and then send you an invoice through Turo for reimbursement. I also offer the option to purchase a "Prepaid Fuel" option in the Extras section of the vehicle that allows you to pay an upfront fee and return the vehicle at ANY fuel level! Pricing varies based on vehicle type. Message me for more info!
