Our location: Pick up at our location (Free) + Location within 10 miles of our location: (Free) + William P. Hobby Airport: (Free) + D. George Bush Intercontinental Airport: Get vehicle delivered at the airport (Delivery Fee) [RE-CHARGING] Please pay close attention to drive-able miles and pulling over to the supercharger if the drive-able charge is under 30 miles. Tesla does not allow supercharges to be used as a parking spot. They require Tesla owners/renters to stay with their Tesla and move their vehicles after charging. If the car is left in the charging area after 5min of completing the charging, Tesla reserves the right to charge per min. Any fees associate with recharigng or towing will be billed to the guest as a reimbursement. [TOLL ROAD CHARGES] Please avoid toll roads. [MILEAGE] You will have a limit of 200 miles per day. There is a fee for every mile over the limit. Since our vehicles are so fun to drive, we encourage you to purchase the Unlimited Mileage Extra in advance so that your time is spent enjoying the vehicle and not counting miles. [CLEANLINESS] The vehicle will be provided to you clean, washed, and disinfected. The vehicle should be returned in the same condition; if not returned clean or in the same condition as given, we will charge a cleaning fee. Since time flies when you are having fun, we encourage you to purchase the Post Trip Cleaning Extra in advance so that your time is spent enjoying the vehicle and not picking up crumbs. [NO PETS/NO SMOKING] This vehicle is smoke and pet free. Per Turo Fees Table, you will be charged a smoking and/or cleaning fee if there is a smoke smell, unpleasant odor, or pet hair. The smoking/pet fee can increase depending on how hard it is to remove smell/hair/ashes/cigarette butts/etc. [DAMAGE] The vehicle will be photographed before/after each trip. Any noticeable scrapes or dents will incur a repair fee. [ADDITIONAL USAGE] Please pick up and return the vehicle at the time you specified. On-time pickups and returns allow us to make sure all vehicles are disinfected and prepared for our next guest. Per Turo Fees Table, you will be charged a late return/additional usage fee if you return it after 30 min and it increases if you go past 2 hours.   • Do I have to re-charge the car at the end of my trip?

    Yes! We are flexible and understanding with the return of Tesla with a full charge. As long as you are within 7/8 to a full charge due to commuting from the charging station to the drop-off destination, you will not receive a reimbursement request. For your convenience, we offer the "prepaid re-charging" extra for post-trip return. It is priced within reason considering you are paying for a full re-charge and the convenience of not having to go to a charging station. Pro-Tip: You can avoid the hassle altogether by taking care of this at the start of your reservation. Purchase the prepaid re-charge extra.

  • What steps do I need to take if I am involved in an accident?

    Read below to see the next steps if you are involved in an accident: 1. If you are involved in a collision, the first step is to call 911 and request police to the scene of a collision with another vehicle. The next step is to call me "the host" and TURO (the TURO insurance card is located in the glove compartment). 2. Be vigilant on the roads; navigate through the vehicle's features while you are parked and free of distractions (the road is no place to figure out a new feature). Do not rely on driving aids such as forward collision, and park assist; you are the driver in command. 3. Please Note: Should you get towed, you are responsible for towing and any associated cost. The car must be put into Tow Mode and can only be towed by a flatbed truck. 4. Stay safe on the Houston roads and have a great trip!

  • Tesla's are electric vehicles; how do I charge the car?

    Tesla Houston Superchargers are the fastest way to charge, and most are outside of the Loop. The navigation screen will show you Tesla SuperChargers on the map and inform you if charging is needed for your trip. You can also visit www.tesla.com/supercharger to find superchargers. Inner-city charging will take longer to charge, usually at a 20 miles/hr rate, so please plan and map out a charger near you. Check out chargehub.com for level 2 chargers. Most non-Tesla chargers will require an adapter (included). Make sure the charger is compatible with adapter J1772. You can also plug into a regular 120 wall outlet at a rate of 4miles/hr (also included with an extension cord). DON'T FORGET THE ADAPTER! Charging stations will charge a fee for letting the car sit idle on the charger. You are responsible for those fees. Please avoid this as a courtesy to other EV drivers. Supercharging will be billed back after the trip completes.

  • What do I do if I run out of battery?

    Should you get towed or run out of battery, you are responsible for towing and any associated cost. The car must be put into Tow Mode and can only be towed by a flatbed truck.

  • What happens if my trip runs longer than I expected?

    To extend your trip, please go to your reservation in the TURO app or website and request an extension. TURO will calculate the additional costs. As long as there is not a reservation immediately after your trip, we will approve the extra time. Communication is the key! Keep us updated.

  • How do I manage post-trip clean-up?

    The vehicle will be provided to you clean, washed, and disinfected. The vehicle should be returned in the same condition; if not returned clean or in the same condition as given, we will charge a cleaning fee. Since time flies when you are having fun, we encourage you to purchase the Post Trip Cleaning Extra in advance so that your time is spent enjoying the vehicle and not picking up crumbs.
