Guidelines

#1 - DELIVERY: Trying to find your ride at the airport can be hard. That's why you'll be able to have the Cub delivered in some of Houston's hotspots. You can have the Cub delivered to you at the following locations: - Directly to you - William P. Hobby Airport - George Bush Intercontinental Airport - Our location #2 - RE-FUELING: The Cub's gas tank will be full when you start your trip. At the conclusion of your trip, the gas tank must be filled. If you fail to fill the tank up, you will be charged an additional $29 to your final bill. ***PLEASE READ: This Nissan Versa SR should be filled with regular, unleaded gas/grade fuel.*** #3 - TOLLS & TOLL ROAD CHARGES: Houston has a lot of tolls. Therefore, the Cub is equipped with a toll tag. At the conclusion of your trip, you will receive a final statement and reimbursement request including a $9 service charge. #4 - MILEAGE: Enjoy up to 300 miles per day. Anything over 300 miles per day will result in an additional charge per mile driven over your allotted amount. #5 - CLEANING: The Cub must be returned as you received it: clean on the inside and outside. If it is not cleaned, you will be charged an additional fee of $29. #6 - NO PETS & NO SMOKING: If the Cub smells like smoke, you will be charged a fee of $249 to your final Turo bill. If we discover that any pets were in the vehicle, you will be charged a pet fee of $99. #7 - And last but not least, secure your ride with the Cub today.

  • What steps do I need to take if I am involved in an accident?

    Things happen! Read below to see next steps if you are involved in an accident: If you are involved in a collision, the first step is to call 911 and request police to the scene of a collision with another vehicle. The next step is to call myself "the host" and TURO (the TURO insurance card is located in the glove compartment). Be vigilant on the roads; navigate through the vehicle's features while you are parked and free of distractions (the road is no place to figure out a new feature). Do not rely on driving aids such as forward collision, and park assist; you are the driver in command. Stay safe in the Houston roads and have a great trip!

  • What happens if my trip runs longer than I expected?

    Sometimes, trips run longer than expected and we understand that! To extend your trip, please go to your reservation in the TURO app or website and request an extension. TURO will calculate the additional costs. As long as there is not a reservation immediately after your trip, we will approve the extra time. Communication is the key! Keep us updated.

  • How do I manage post trip clean-up?

    My fleet on TURO have car wash memberships to Blue Wave Car Wash. All you have to do is drive up to one of the Houston Area - Blue Wave Car Wash locations. The gate will raise and you can enter the car wash without extra out of pocket payments. We want to make your experience as seamless as possible! Alternatively TURO gives you the option to purchase the "post-trip cleaning extra" - that way you do not have to worry about additional reimbursements at the end of your trip. ***Please Note: Failure to clean the car will result in a reimbursement request in the amount of the "post trip clean up" extra***

  • Do I have to refuel the car at the end of my trip?

    Yes! I am flexible and understanding with the return of the Versa with a full tank. As long as you are within 7/8 to a full tank due to commuting from the gas station to the drop off destination you will not receive a reimbursement request. For convenience TURO offers the "prepaid fueling" extra for post-trip return. It is priced within reason considering you are paying for 15 gal of fuel and the convenience of not having to go to the gas station! Pro-Tip: You can avoid the hassle altogether by taking care of this at the start of your reservation. Purchase the prepaid refueling extra.
