Car is in great shape for its age, but because it’s old it has no self driving features and the batteries hold maybe 60% of the range advertised. I’d say maybe 120 mile per charge. Host does not communicate well. Claimed it comes with a mobile charger, but it’s a NEMA 14-50 which won’t even plug into a standard dryer outlet. He told me after I was 100 miles away he had an adapter that could work for a dryer outlet but it was not in the car. No one has the NEMA 14-50 outlet unless they’ve had an electrician install one in their home for an electric vehicle, so don’t expect to charge the vehicle at your destination unless they’ve have an electric vehicle. I dis buy an adapter which I was told I’d be reimbursed for and then wasn’t. Asked about reimbursement after the rental and no reply. Limited response the whole time I was trying to figure out how to charge the vehicle as I had been expecting to be able to charge it at my house through a standard outlet. So you’re basically stuck charging at the super chargers. Charging at the super chargers is expensive though (about 4x as much as doing it at home) and it takes forever. Didn’t have time to charge for 2h before my 8am flight and because the batteries are shot the vehicle was at 18% when I returned it so I was charged a $50 fee for returning it not fully charged. This is in addition to the 75$ fee I was charged to use the airport plus the $10 parking fee I had to pay to pick the vehicle up from the cell phone lot.
You get what you pay for. Cheap rental, cheap experience
