Prepaid EV recharge
Save time and make dropoff a breeze by adding this Extra, which allows you to return my car without fully recharging. Please return with at least 30 miles of range.
US$30/trip
RE-CHARGING: Please pay close attention to drivable miles and pull over to the supercharger if the drivable charge is under 30 miles. Tesla does not allow supercharges to be used as parking spots. They require Tesla owners/renters to stay with their Tesla and move their vehicles after charging. If the car is left in the charging area after 5 minutes of completing the charging, Tesla reserves the right to charge per min. Any fees associated with recharging or towing will be billed to the guest as a reimbursement. *** A $500.00 fee will be applied if the vehicle runs out of battery. We highly recommend that you recharge the vehicle at or before the 50-mile range.*** If you opt-in to the Prepaid EV recharge extra, you still must return the vehicle with at least 30 miles of charge, so that our team can make it to the charging station. *** A $50.00 fee will be charged if the Prepaid EV recharge extra was not selected at the time of booking and the car is returned with less than 250 miles of range.*** TOLL ROAD CHARGES: Please avoid toll roads as any incurred cost will be billed to you. POST-TRIP CLEANING: The vehicle will be provided to you clean, washed, and disinfected. The vehicle should be returned in the same condition; if not returned clean or in the same condition as given, we will charge a cleaning fee. The extra charge for Post Trip Cleaning is recommended for a hassle-free return. *** A $50.00 fee will be charged if the prepaid post-trip cleaning extra was not selected at the time of booking and the car is returned unclean.*** NO PETS/NO SMOKING: This vehicle is smoke and pet free. Per Turo Fees Table, you will be charged smoking and/or cleaning fee if there is a smoke smell, unpleasant odor, or pet hair. The smoking/pet fee can increase depending on how hard it is to remove smell/hair/ashes/cigarette butts/etc. *** A $500.00 professional cleaning fee will be charged to the renter if any smoke or pet presence is detected in the vehicle.*** DAMAGE: The vehicle will be photographed before/after each trip. Any noticeable scrapes or dents will incur a repair fee billed to you. TIRE/RIM: Tire and Rim damage is the most common type of damage that occurs on vehicles. We take clear photos of each tire and rim before and after each trip, and we highly recommend that our guests do the same. There will be a $500.00 per rim charge for any damage found on the rim. ADDITIONAL USAGE: Please pick up and return the vehicle at the time you specified. On-time pickups and returns allow us to make sure all vehicles are disinfected and prepared for our next guest. Per Turo Fees Table, you will be charged a late return/additional usage fee if you return it after 30 min and it increases if you go past 2 hours. If you believe you might need the vehicle for more hours/days, please extend your trip in the Turo App. CUSTOMER SATISFACTION: We are here to ensure you have a seamless experience. We will provide you with our personal phone number to contact us during the duration of your rental and will respond quickly to messages sent to us through the Turo messaging platform.
How do I turn the car on and off?
To turn the car on place the key card on the console and put the car into gear. To turn the car off put the car in park, exit the car and close the door behind you. An alternative option you have is the touchscreen through Controls > Safety & Security > Power Off.
How do I charge the car?
Navigate to the nearest Tesla supercharging station. Park the vehicle and unlock the charge port. Plug the charging cable into the port. Once the charging begins the infotainment system will display the estimated time it will take to charge the vehicle.
How long does the car take to charge?
The amount of time it takes to charge is dependent on the range remaining on the battery at the time of charging. Typically the supercharger can charge the car up to 200 miles in 15 minutes.
Charging - How to?
Charging the Tesla is easy! With Tesla chargers, just press the button on the charger handle while holding near the charge port on the rear left tail light - the port will open right up automatically. When you plug in the car, the Tesla Supercharger automatically recognizes my car and adds any charging fees to my account, which will be billed to you at the end of your trip. If you have any questions what-so-ever, I'm happy to provide more details on charging! For third-party charging stations, download the appropriate app for that station and set up an account to refuel the car. Plugshare is a great app for finding EV charging stations near you.

I gave 5 stars because Krowne was very responsive. My only complaint is that the car isn’t good on charge. I drove less than a mile and the battery reduced by 1%. I felt like I had to charge the car every day I used it, whether it was a 70mile roundtrip or 45mile roundtrip, which I didn’t find normal. I also suggest putting car seat covers on the seats because they’re white, but easy to clean (material). This was my first time driving an electric car and it makes me appreciate a fuel vehicle so much more. It drives really good and the technology is cool. Other than it not keeping a good charge, I had no issues.
