2018 Tesla Model 3 mid range (260 miles) WITH full self driving (FSD) package with all available software AND hardware upgrades. This means it is on the HW3 Full Self Driving Computer, MCU2 chip for latest entertainment options and running on 2020.48.35.5. Note: The full self driving beta package has not been released to the public. There are a few beta testers, but this car does not have access to the beta FSD program where the car provides all driving decisions with close human supervision. It does have all publicly available capabilities under the FSD package such as "Navigate on Autopilot." This means full freeway navigation with automatic lane changes, merging, overtaking slow cars, and freeway changes to keep with your inputted GPS route with close human supervision. On larger marked surface streets it will keep its lane, stop at red lights and stop signs but will not follow a GPS route. These features do NOT make it autonomous! You must pay attention and correct things if it errors! It also automatically parks when it sees a spot (if selected) and has Smart Summon. However, Smart Summon will be a feature you won't be able to evaluate due to integration with the owners cell phone. By special request, I can let you play around with it on my cell phone if I am available on your rental day. This car has the premium connectivity package. This means it has an internet browser and you can surf the web, listen to podcasts, stream music, see satellite images on maps and see real time traffic displayed on the map. I will try and provide the car with a 200 mile charge. Last min bookings might make this difficult, but I will try and have it charged to about this level on days it is open for rent. This also makes it easier for you to return at 200 miles since charging rate slows down as you approach full charge. Nothing like being crunched for time to return the car and having to wait on that last bit. You may use the Tesla supercharging network and it will automatically bill to my account. To charge, just roll up and plug it in. There is nothing you need to do to enable access. After, I will submit the extra charge to Turo which you manually approve. I will also provide a Tesla adapter and ChargePoint Card for you to use this out of networks level 2 charging stations. It will be fun to experiment with both charging flows as they have many more charging stations than Teslas. They are literally everywhere and you might get some great parking simply by using them (ie beach areas). Simply tap the card to the ChargePoint station and it unlocks. It will again bill to my account and I will submit it to Turo. If you just charge for a few minutes while at the store, consider it complimentary. Its very cheap and does not add up quickly like the supercharger. We will give you the outside in a reasonably clean state, but not perfect. No outside car wash required when returning it to us as a result. Free car seat or booster available on request. We are very Covid conscious and will wear masks, distance and sanitize the car. I can unlock the car remotely via app and the "key" (a card) will be inside!
