Parking details
Aloha! If you choose to pick up and drop off at our residence in Eleele, you will need to find a ride to and from Eleele on your scheduled pick up and drop off days. The car will be ready for you upon your arrival to Eleele. If you prefer to do an airport pick up, please change the pick up location to the Lihue airport. Mahalo 🌸
Guidelines
We understand that you may want to explore the entire island, however, Polihale State Park is strictly prohibited when using our car. Our car cannot is not built to go in and out of Polihale State Park. Thank you for your understanding.
FAQs
What is the current Turo situation at Lihue airport?
Turo hosts are currently prohibited from picking up and dropping off Turo cars at the airport. There is a designated Turo parking lot located at Target which is about eight minutes away from the airport. A complimentary shuttle is available between 7:00am and 11:00pm to be able to bring you to and from the airport and the Turo parking lot.
Do we need to clean the car upon departure?
We understand that your time on Kaua’i is precious and do not expect you to clean the car upon departure. We do, however, ask that you tidy up, throw your trash away and treat our car as if it your own.
Do I have to fill the gas tank upon departure?
Yes, unless you choose the prepaid fuel add on option. If the feature is not selected, we ask that you fill the gas tank to full upon departure. If the gas tank is not filled up all the way, we will charge you the amount that it costs us to fill up the tank.
