1. The guest will be responsible for all super-charging costs on a pay-as-you-go basis. Unlike most rental car companies with gasoline, we do not profit off of this cost. We simply send you the exact cost. Supercharging is around $9 per 100 miles. 2. Car comes with at least 3/4 tank of charge. Please return the car with the same amount of charge you received it with. Failure to do so will result in a recharging fee. 3. Do NOT leave the car with under 15 miles of charge overnight or for time periods of longer than 8 hours. If the charge reaches 0% and cannot be charged, a $300 fee is charged. The same $300 fee applies to losing or damaging the car key card.

• Can I charge the vehicle at my house or hotel? 🏠 🏨

  By request, I can leave you with a charging cable if you would like to try out charging the Tesla at your home or hotel. With the portable charger, it will charge at 4mph via a standard outlet. I recommend using the supercharging network but also understand if you would like to charge at home so just ask 💬. Remember that you are responsible for keeping the cable safe if you decide to charge at your hotel.

• How do you charge an electric car? 🔌

  Tesla has a large supercharging network in California with the nearest one conveniently 5 minutes from the cars pickup location. On the big screen in the center of the car there is a map. On that map you can see all tesla super charging locations. When you type in your destination on the map, it will automatically route you past any superchargers required in order to reach your destination! In order to charge, press on the driver side tail light and it will automatically open. Insert the charging cable and the light with turn green. You are good to go!

• How do I use Autopilot? ✈

  Great question! To use autopilot, while on the expressway simply double tap down on the gear selector to the right of the steering wheel. That simple! (Make sure to pay attention with your hands on the steering wheel while car is in Autopilot mode. Autopilot does not replace an attentive driver)

• Can someone else drive the car?

  You may add an additional driver for free within the turo app.

• What invoices will I pay after the trip?

  You will receive an invoice only if you use supercharge, toll roads, traffic tickets, or return the car dirty.
