While initially renting the car in September for October rental went well I was told that I would be met at the airport by the he owner. I was never told I needed to take an extra step to do this until I was getting ready to board my flight. While in flight I was given information on how to do this, however, it was 11:30 at night by the time I landed. I was assured by the owner that I could get a Lyft or Uber from the airport. That was not the case. After nearly an hour of trying to get one of these I had to call a cab company and did not arrive at the rental until nearly 1 in the morning. When I got in the car and started to drive away something was going on with the front left wheel. I checked and went ahead and drive it and all seemed to be fine after getting on the road. Due to my inability to get a Lyft or Uber when arriving I pre arranged for a Lyft from Justine’s home to the airport. As this isn’t guaranteed time, the Lyft driver arrived 10 minutes early and I was unable to fill the tank before dropping it off. I was charged a $10 convenience fee because the owner had to fill up the tank. While I will pay it, I am thinking this fee should have been waived as I was told Justine would provide transportation from the airport. However, I was never told what needed to be done to secure that until I was in flight. Overall, the car was clean and Justine did provide water.

Thank you for the feedback regarding the left front wheel. Although it has passed inspections without mention, we want to ensure others feel comfortable in the vehicle and will have someone take a peek at the issue. As a fellow Turo host, we did not realize additional instructions were needed regarding adding delivery to the reservation, but we will be clearer about this with future guests.
