The remote doesn’t work to unlock the car and the wipers are worn out also the breaks make a loud noise when used.

This guy is trash and I suggest you not rent any vehicle especially this one. First things first I get to the place and he's making comments about how attractive I am. I'm traveling by myself this trip so I keep it cool and to not let him know how uncomfortable I am or to spazz on him for being inappropriate. His first comment was to contact him through his personal number and not the app which is suspicious because if you're on the up and up you wouldn't be trying to go outside the app. Shady to say the least. Right off the bat the remote doesnt work for the car. The lock, unlock, trunk, panic button, none of it worked. First red flag. I pull out into traffic and as soon as I stop at the red light at the end of the street I hear squeaking....the kind when your brakes are low and need to be serviced. I stopped at the gas station at the end of the street and the TPMS light is on. I'm no mechanic but my uncle is and that has something to do with the sensors on the tires that measure the pressure and ensure it's at proper levels for safe driving. Same day I head to the beach, when I get done with my beach trip I head back to the car to go to my hotel and change for dinner plans. I start the car and let the windows down to let the hot air out before I cut the AC on...the driver window does not come up. I call him to let him know (I record and document everything for instances like this so try me) and he says well why would you let the windows down, you should leave them up. He also went on to tell me that it was an old car and I couldn't expect the best....SIR YOU ARE RENTING A VEHICLE ON AN APP, IF THE CARS IS OLD NOT WORKING YOU SHOULDN"T HAVE IN OUT ON THE ROAD ESPECIALLY IN A STATE WHERE FOLKS DRIVE LIKE BATS OUT OF HELL!!! I'm asthmatic and not sitting in no one's hot car while I wait on the AC to kick in. He then tells me I need to drive to his friends mechanic garage to have them fix it which is 45 minutes away in Medley, Florida (from where I was) and I had a dinner to be to at 7. He was supposed to meet me there seeing that this was his vehicle and didn't show up. When he didn't show I texted three people my location because well human trafficking is real. I sat at the mechanics (still in the car) for 30 minutes while he literally took the car door apart, took the window out, just to reveal that the wire cable that lowers and raises the window was off track and wrapped up in itself. The mechanic who was great by the way ended up having to place a piece of wood IN THE DOOR to prop the window up so it would not be down and stay down for the remainder of my trip. Tony's only response was that I could return the car, while still trying to scold me for lowering the window that should've been in working condition, but also stating that he was doing me a favor as if this wasn't a business exchange in the first place. I missed my dinner plans and had to drive clear out the way just to not get it fixed. he stated he would give me a discount ( I have the recorded convo) for the inconvenience and thanked me for being understanding. So I drove the car for two days with the window not being able to be rolled down which is a safety hazard, the TPMS light was on the whole time ( my uncle told me that thats a major no no because its a warning system and I could've been injured in that vehicle), the breaks which were singing every time I stopped and all because the state has a car rental shortage and I procrastinated in booking with my regular rental place. The final day I texted him to let him know I was on my way to him to return the car and he kept blowing up my phone asking where I was and working my last nerve. When I got back and parked the car I happened to look at the tire and low and behold it was not filled up like the other tires. From reading the previous reviews ( Leatha) I NOW KNOW the front driver tire has a slow leak hence why the TPMS light was on and probably has been on for months now. how are you a dealer but don't or won't properly service your vehicles?!?! As I got all my stuff out the vehicle and waited for my UBER he is going on about how I need to leave him a great review and he will do the same for me * rolls eyes*. He then proceeds to wash the car off with a water hose (not even worth the $20). Then today as he's messaging me about the extra charges he's thrown on there he tells me I returned the car with the tire low and I should have filled it up and did maintenance on it. I don't know about anyone else but any rental car I've ever had (Enterprise, Alimo, Dollar, etc.) the car had never needed me to do anything special besides drive and not crash it. There have never been any check engine lights, broken/malfunctioning pieces, damaged tires or anything that puts an unnecessary driving hazard on the renter/driver. This man is shady, unprofessional, and a working con. he shouldn't be able to list this vehicle for anything and I will definitely be making a complaint but from the looks of these reviews I won't be the first or the last. Save yourself the trouble and DO NOT rent this vehicle from this man or any vehicles. I would've gladly Ubered had I known it was going to be all of this. And Tony I hope you realize that I have everything recorded and documented so try me if you'd like. stop being a scumbag.
