I am also happy to spend time with you for an orientation or a little demo drive. ❇️The key card: Use the key card to tap the front door edge to open or lock the car. When you are inside the car,please tap the key card on the cup holder area and press the brake to drive. If you need, I will send you the reference pictures as well. ❇️Charge: Charge it at home with 240V outlet or Supercharges. -How to open and close the cover of the vehicle charger plug? The charge plug is located at the left back of the body. DO NOT manually to open the cover, it is sensitive and automatic to open when you press the button of the charging cable and close to the cover. To close the cover, you just gently press down. -The car is equipped with home charging cable. Please do not lose it or a $350 fee will incur. However due to the slow charging speed and theft of the charging cable. WE WILL ONLY INCLUDE THE CHARGING CABLE IF REQUESTED PRIOD TO THE TRIP! 90% of guests will not use it since public charging network is much faster. -Tesla Supercharge network across Southern California is quite robust. You will not have a difficult time navigating to a charging station. Superchargers are the fastest and easiest way to charge. You can use the car dashboard map to find Tesla Supercharges which are marked as RED pins. -The guests do not need to add a payment method to pay for Tesla Supercharging. The Tesla station will bill directly to the owner and the guests will be billed at the end of the trip by Turo app. -Some destinations have EV charging stations,those are slower but still add significant range to the vehicle.They are marked as GREY pins on the car dashboard map. The guests can pay with credit card for the charging fee by themselves at the station. ✅IMPORTANT NOTE: When using Tesla Supercharger,please DO NOT let the vehicle idle once it is fully charged. Tesla charges $1.00 for every minute that the vehicle is idling while fully charged, this will be billed back to you at the end of your booking. So please set an alarm for the full charging time, then move the car when it is done charging at a Supercharger. ❇️Please return the car with at least the same amount of battery charge prior to check in or you can add the extra option of Prepaid EV. ❇️Please do not let the car’s battery go below 40 miles(or 20%)of range or it can damage the battery life and a fee will be assessed for the damage. ❇️Start & Park the car -The Tesla is electric and therefore doesn’t have a motor that needs to be turned on. To drive, simply pull down on the right stick behind the steering wheel with your foot on the brake. This will put you into drive. -To reverse, put your foot on the brake and push up on the right stick. -To park, push the button at the end of the right stick.
