Description

You will be required to show proof of insurance, including full coverage (not just liability) in order to rent this vehicle. Turo coverage does NOT count. Thank you for understanding. Check out this long-range AWD Tesla Model 3 in striking white with the stunning white interior and over 300 miles of range--perfect for visiting all parts of rugged Colorado. We call her "Night Light" because our kids love the How to Train Your Dragon movies. Night Light features Full Self Driving, Tesla's advanced driving aid, which makes long drives a breeze. Night Light also comes with the premium upgrades package, heated seats in all five positions, 19" sport wheels, and all wheel drive for conquering every road Colorado can throw at you. It gets the equivalent of 120 mpg per the EPA, though I've done considerably better. Efficient, fun, fast, and practical. This car is fantastic. Check out all of our vehicles at www.evrides.com. If you end up buying a Tesla, please use my referral code for free Supercharger miles: http://ts.la/contact55331. Do not ever let the vehicle's state of charge drop below 10%. The vehicle uses battery power even when idle (like when it is parked overnight). For lists and maps of chargers, please visit tesla.com/supercharger and plugshare.com. Finally, absolutely no smoking anything or vaping in or near the vehicle! We will charge the maximum cleaning fee possible if we can smell any tobacco or marijuana, even if it's just from transporting it.

Parking details

This is at the Dairy Block in "LoDo" Denver. On-site parking available to you at normal rates.

Guidelines

No smoking (seriously, absolutely no smoking). No vaping. Don't even do any of this near the car. If we even smell smoke or other malodors, we will charge $250. So don't do it! No pets without prior approval. Return it in the same condition as when you picked it up. And have fun!! Do not ever let the vehicle's state of charge drop below 10%. The vehicle uses battery power even when idle (like when it is parked overnight). For lists and maps of chargers, please visit tesla.com/supercharger and plugshare.com.

Faqs

  • How far can I drive this thing?

It has about 300 miles of range on a full charge (in ideal conditions). Let's call it closer to 250 miles in the real world. Plus, Tesla has Superchargers all over the country, including near DIA, at Park Meadows mall, in Boulder, Fort Collins, Silverthorne, Glenwood Springs, Colorado Springs, Grand Junction, and more in Colorado alone. I've never run out of a charge in any of my Teslas.

  • How do I "fuel" this car?

Night Light is pure electric, so you need to charge it. No gas at all. Fortunately, Tesla has thousands of Superchargers around the country. Plus, you can charge at any of the many public charging stations around the country (including here in Denver), or even using a regular 110v outlet (though 110v is very slow). Do not ever let the vehicle's state of charge drop below 10%. The vehicle uses battery power even when idle (like when it is parked overnight). For lists and maps of chargers, please visit tesla.com/supercharger and plugshare.com.

  • Do I need to return the car with a "full tank?"

You must return with at least 80% charge to avoid being billed. 50% to 80% at return is $10. 10% to 50% is $20. Under 10% (please don't) is $50. So please hit a Supercharger before you return it.

Not quite up to a luxury experience we expected. Minor maintenance needed on exterior with something dragging under vehicle . Lots of fiddling around to get in and out of rental location, guess that’s to be expected with an EV, but the technology should make it simpler.

Great experience! Michael’s check-in & checkout instructions were very clear. Do research so you’re prepared to spend time charging before return. I underestimated how much time I needed. :(

Good communication, no complaints with the car and Michael. That said, not sure if renting any Tesla is worth the additional $ (you will also need to purchase additional insurance). Also, make sure you have time to charge the car during your trip or you will get charged additional fees. All of this was outlined upfront. If I ever need a Tesla in Denver, I would happily rent from Michael again.
