The car is in bad shape

Just horrible. When I arrived to pick up the car, Yan was 15 min late getting the car checked out to me. There's a no smoking policy, but he's smoking in the car as I'm having to wait for him to verify mileage and take pictures, all on my time. In addition, the front bumper of the car is damaged, and the zip tie that was holding it together came off on the highway, thus beginning to drag and rub against the tire. When I messaged him about this and asked if he had another car that I could use more efficiently, he left me on read. So I called roadside assistance, and they were going to tow the car to whatever location he wanted, but he refused and elected to come pick the car up himself. When he finally arrived two hours later, he just replaced the zip tie, and called Turo to say that he had fixed it and I still had the car. Having already told me he was going to give me a refund, it was obvious he was trying to get out of doing so, by telling Turo everything was good to go, as if I had elected to continue with the rental. I had to send Turo pictures of him making repairs to get my refund. Absolutely horrible experience and inconvenience! His customer service is horrible, or nonexistent. I would rather pay more for a reliable rental, than ever rent from him again. He makes Turo look BAD. DO NOT BOTHER TRYING TO DO BUSINESS WITH HIM.
