I’d be happy to answer any questions you may have. If this will be your first time driving a Tesla, congratulations! Standard options include: -Standard AutoPilot -Drivers Assist -rear wheel drive -heated front seats -12-way power adjustment seats -power trunk lid -15 in touch screen -4 USB ports -wireless device charging -Perfect 5-star rating (NHTSA) 265 mile fully charged. (It takes about 20 min to charge 170 miles) Though Tesla has designed a great battery, it is unhealthy for the Heath of the battery to hold a low charge. 🔋Please DO NOT allow the vehicle to drop below 20 miles of charge intentionally. ✳️This is monitored and may result in an additional fee being charged✳️ ✅Save time and make your drop off a breeze by adding the prepaid EV charge to your rental. This allows you to return the car without fully charging up. How do you handle Supercharging fees and road/bridge tolls?
While slower public charging such as those found at hotels and rest stops may be free, others charge a fee for use and may require setting up an account for billing. For this reason, we generally Tesla's High-Speed Supercharging network. When you arrive, just plug in & Tesla will automatically bill my account. Please be sure to unplug as soon as charging has completed to avoid collecting idle fees. After your trip is complete, we’ll request reimbursement for the amount Tesla has well as any road/bridge tolls collected.
I would like to use the Tesla app to control the car and monitor charging during my trip, are you able to provide app access?
Yes! Tesla App access is available by request and set up after completing checkout.
How to start or turn off the vehicle?
Simply use the key card, and tap the surface area, just below the arm rest latch and you will then be ready to operate the vehicle, by holding down the brake and simultaneously shifting down to "Drive (D)" position, then you'll be ready to drive off.
Can my friends/family members drive the vehicle?
Yes, as long as they are legally licensed and added as a registered Driver with Turo after booking the vehicle, they can! Turo doesn’t charge for adding additional drivers however the primary renter may need to be present for pick up and drop off.
Do I need to wash the car upon return?
When returning, the car must be clean enough to show that there's no damage. Dirt & bugs are fine you don't have to wash the car unless it's covered in mud.
