It is with deep regret that I have to leave a bad review. The review is both for the car owner and the company Turo. Our flight was delayed by an unexpected snowstorm which caused our pilot to land at a different location. I contacted Adeen as soon as we were on the ground and allowed to make calls approximately 1 hour prior to pick up time. He did not answer the phone so I left a text message. We were at the expected airport less than an hour late at which time he informed me that he had already left ( understandable) but would not return to deliver the car. He said we could come to where he was (but we obviously had no way to get there). I asked for a full refund with cancellation at which time I waited for over an hour to get a promise of a full refund with customer service. She told me to wait 10 days for the refund to show up. I waited 10 business days then called to check on the status of the refund as it was not showing up on my credit card. I then had to call back and speak with someone who was very hard to understand and she has now assured me that in 10 more business days we will get a refund as it was never processed when they originally told me it would be. I wish I could wait the extra 10 days to leave this review so that you’d get the final resolution but if I don’t leave one today I will have no chance to let others know the horrible experience we had with Turo. This was my first time to use Turo and I believe it will be my last! Not the way to do business with your customers. Most business owners expect small inconveniences and their customer service should be priority. Unfortunately this was not the case with neither the car owner nor the company.
