🚨 PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. Responsible and respectful guests only. I'm grateful you’ve stopped to look at my car as your renting option! I work hard to be able to provide quality cars at an affordable rate for your enjoyment. So please be careful and help me keep the car in excellent condition. I highly recommend adding unlimited mileage because it’s significantly cheaper than going over mileage. Also, if the vehicle is not returned with a battery charge you will be charged. Pre-pay EV Charging is also recommended. There is a $10 convenience fee that TURO charges plus the cost to charge the vehicle. If you happen to be running later for the car drop-off or something along the lines please let me know and we can work something out rather than me being surprised. Check-In / Check-Out Please CHECK-IN AND OUT on the Turo phone app so Turo knows what time you picked up the vehicle and what time you returned it. Only the person on the Turo account can pick up and drop off. Do NOT book for someone else. You MUST bring a VALID driver's license when you pick up the vehicle. I WILL NOT release the vehicle if you do not have a valid license with a clear picture. The Turo insurance card can also be downloaded here -> https://support.turo.com/hc/en-us/articles/203991860-Incident-information-card- Turo charges late return fees so if you are going to be late, extend the trip BEFORE the trip ends so you won't be charged the late fee plus additional usage fee. You CANNOT extend the trip once the time of return has passed. Simply click "Change Trip" and change the return time as necessary. If there is a renter for the car right after you, you will NOT be able to extend and WILL be charged the late fee as it is unfair for the next renter to wait for you. If you are going to return earlier than the scheduled time, please inform me at least 1 hour ahead of time to make sure I am available. Do not show up early and expect me to be there. There are NO refunds for early returns and rental periods cut short. CLEANING Please return the car spill, crumb, and overall mess-free. NO SMOKING of ANY kind (to include weed or vaping). NO PETS PERIOD (to include service animals)! I AM ALLERGIC! You will be fined by TURO up to $250! I take pride in my car and make sure they are filled to the max, washed, and vacuumed (sand-free) before you get into it. Returning Car My car must be returned with a MAX tank of gas (just as it's given at max) as well as vacuumed. I will hand off the car filled with gas, washed, and clean before you get into it. I expect the car to be returned the same way. Turo fines for returning a car dirty or sandy up to $250. There are many car washes in Charlotte. Of course, you can go to ANY car wash/vacuum place you want or even do it yourself. CHARGES If there is an AUX cord provided there is a $20 fee if it is not returned. If the rims are damaged or dented a charge of $250 or more PER RIM will be charged to repair or replace the rim! ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Turo's number is 1-415-965-4525 and has free roadside assistance for towing, key lockouts, jump starts, and tire changes. You cannot leave it unattended. My car is in superb condition and proper maintenance per the vehicles manufacturer’s guidelines. No speeding, racing, or off-roading (gravel roads, sand, mud, red dirt areas, etc). Be careful where you park or you may be ticketed and towed. If you do not take care of the ticket, there will be Turo fees, late fees, court fees, and collection fees on top of the ticket cost, and will be charged to your card automatically by Turo. If you get towed, some tow yards require me to physically be there to retrieve the vehicle. I may not be able to get the car out of the tow yard right away. If this causes a problem of returning the vehicle back on time, Improper and late return fees will be assessed by Turo. Finally, you MUST RETURN THE CAR WHERE YOU PICKED IT UP. Improper return fees will be assessed by Turo. If you have an issue with ANY of these guidelines, please DO NOT BOOK. If you've already booked, PLEASE CANCEL THE BOOKING as soon as possible so Turo does not charge your card and you don't get charged canceling fees.   • Do third-party EV charging stations cost money?

    Yes. However, through my Model S, Tesla Supercharging is free at Tesla Supercharging stations. Tolls are free too!! The renter will be responsible for paying to use third-party EV charging stations.

  • Does this Tesla have Autopilot?

    Yes! It also has Full Self Driving. More information about the controls of how Autopilot and Full Self Driving works will be communicated when you pick up the car.

  • Do I need a home charging set up to rent this Tesla?

    No, however, it's best if you do! If you plan to rent the car for more than 3 days.

  • If I need to charge the car during my rental what are my options?

    I'd prefer you to have access to a nearby charging station at least. The best option is using a Tesla Supercharger. To find a Tesla Supercharger you can simply search for Superchargers in the Tesla on-screen navigation. For third-party EV stations, you can view plugshare.com to see charging stations near you. You may also plug the car into a regular 110 wall outlet at your house. Keep in. mind this will only provide roughly 30 miles for an overnight charge.

  • Where can I find a charger?

  • How do I document charging?

    Take and upload photos of: 1. The charge gauge before you start your trip 2. The charge gauge when you return the car 3. A charging receipt(s) that shows date, time, number of miles, and total cost

  • Is there Tesla Supercharger Support?

  • Will I be charged if I do not return the car to a full charge?

    If you don’t fully recharge an electric vehicle, you can be charged between $10*–$50*, depending on the charge level. You’re also responsible for up to $500 in Tesla Supercharger fees and any Idle fees incurred during the trip. (An idle fee starts after a Tesla is fully charged but remains connected to the charger after it is full).

  • How long does the Vehicle take to charge?

    The Model S 75D takes roughly 45 minutes to charge at a supercharger. The supercharger is the best option and can be found by simply searching for Superchargers in the Tesla on-screen navigation.

  • Does the Vehicle use Gas ever?

    No, the Tesla is completely electric, and you will get to experience the thrill of a quiet, smooth, torque-heavy drive.

  • Is there smoking permitted in the car?

    NO SMOKING! If there is any lingering smell of cigarettes, marijuana, the vaping smell we will report to Turo. Turo can charge in excess of $250 for detail and cleaning services.

  • Does the car need to be cleaned when returning?

  • Can I extend my Reservation?

    Yes, you can request to extend your reservation. If you think you will need to rent the car for additional hour(s)/day(s), please go into your reservation and select the “Modify” button. From here follow the prompts to submit your reservation extension request. Once you’ve submitted your request, you will need to wait for your request to be either approved or denied. If the extension can be accommodated it will be approved and the new reservation time/day will be enforced. However, if the extension cannot be accommodated, the request will be denied, and the original checkout time/day will be enforced. Please keep in mind there may be a price associated with the extension which is automatically done by Turo and depends on the daily price of the car.

  • What happens if I return the car late?

    If you think you will be more than 5 minutes late checking out, please communicate this at least 30 minutes prior to the checkout time. If you do not communicate about checking out later than the original checkout time, then you risk being charged with a “Late Return” fee. I try to accommodate as best as I can as long as there is clear communication.

  • Tesla Battery

    To ensure maximum driving range and battery safety, the battery charge rate is decreased when the Battery is too cold, when the Battery’s charge is nearly full, and when the Battery condition changes with usuage and age.
