Host was good and communication but car was in bad shape. Something was going on with gears and car would not accelerate at times. Completely broke down on us on the way to airport and had to abandon and get Uber. Other things were broken with car. Driver door would not lock. Only manually so had to open from passenger side. Air would not work on certain speeds. Volume knob didn’t work for radio. Car should have been inspected better before letting us use it. We informed host early on about issues but no help or swap was suggested.

Host made last minute changes heading into July 4th without offering a lower price for a lesser car- then when picking up the car he slow rolled more bad news about mechanical issues- then we found even more issues with other malfunctioning parts like a seat that wouldn’t adjust- volume knob that was broken…there’s more- I wouldn’t use this guy but generally I love Turo

The seller was very communicative, which I appreciated so much! Unfortunately, the car itself had a handful of issues, such as the driver door not locking, problems with acceleration, and the radio volume misbehaving. Luckily every time I messaged the seller, he responded very quickly.
