The Mitsubishi Mirage returns for 2017 with a long list of renovations including updates to the exterior and interior design, and a slight increase in horsepower. The newly updated 2017 Mitsubishi Mirage is powered by a 1.2-liter I-3 engine that produces 78 hp and 74 lb-ft of torque. There is a choice of two transmissions, a 5-speed manual and a CVT that send power to the front wheels. The Mirage manages to get an impressive 37/43 mpg city/highway with the CVT and 33/41 mpg city/highway with the five-speed manual transmission. It is available only as a hatchback but Mitsubishi now offers its sedan sibling, the G4.
