Dogs or cats welcome, but please return the car clean. No smoking please and of course, no driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Premium gas required when refilling the tank. Renters are responsible for any parking, traffic tickets and tolls (transponder tag #02101553570) incurred during the trip. Please set the start and end times of your reservation so it's the earliest and latest you will pick up and return because Turo insurance is only in effect during the official period of the reservation. In the event the name on your driver's license does not exactly match the name on your Turo profile, I am required to upload a photo of you and your license to the Turo app. Please drive safely and no drag racing. The car is a rear wheel drive so may be more slippery in heavy rain or snow. When booking, please let me know where you plan on going. Thank you!

• Does it necessarily require premium gas when refilling the tank?

  Yes! Very important to always feed it the highest octane gas at the station. If you prefer, feel free to return the car without refueling the tank and I will send a bill for reimbursement using the cost for premium gas at the Shell station down the street.

• Is the convertible top difficult to operate?

  Nope. Just make sure the vehicle is stationary, in park mode and no passengers are trying to get in or out before operating the convertible top. Press and hold down one button that looks like an open convertible top for about 15 seconds for it to come down. Press and hold down the other button that looks like a closed convertible top for about 15 seconds for it to come up. In both cases, you'll know it's done when the windows stop moving. Please do not attempt to climb over the car with the top down.

• Your car details say there are 4 seats. Why not 5?

  Unfortunately, most convertibles or coupes only have room for 2 passengers in the back seat. Although you could theoretically jam an extra person in the middle seat, there are only 2 seat belts. I do not advise traveling with 3 passengers in the back for both safety and comfort.

• This is an older model car. Will it break on me?

  Although I cannot guarantee that something may break as it is case with any car regardless of age, both myself and the previous owner carefully maintained it. Much of the mechanical repairs associated with an aging vehicle has already been addressed in addition to receiving regular oil, filter changes, coolant and other fluid flushes. Tires, battery, brakes, alternator, tie rod, exhaust gasket, power steering pump, steering column, expansion tank, front bumper, headlights, and oil pan gasket were all replaced in the past couple years. The convertible top underwent repairs and servicing in 2016. Most recent state safety inspection. oil change, wheel alignment and other servicing was performed in October 2022. UPDATE: In late October of 2022, speed sensors stopped working intermittently, causing the speedometer, ABS and traction control lights to go off. Mechanic believes it was due to heavy rain leaving dirt onto the sensors. After a few days of warm weather, the speedometer started working again and the dash lights went away.

• Will you be available in the case of an emergency?

  I am reachable on my cell phone, but in the event there is an emergency, Turo provides Roadside Assistance and can be reached at 1-866-735-2901. I used to be an Airbnb Superhost, so I try my best to provide great customer service!
