What are some good charging tips?
When you pick up your car it will be fully charged. Remember that the miles left, which is always displayed on the dash, is just an estimate. Start looking for a charge station at 25%. Google charging stations near you and look for super chargers for they are the fastest. Some common stations are Blink, Electrify America, and ChargePoint.
Will I be charged if the car is returned not fully charged?
Yes we request that the car is brought back to its original charge level (at least) to avoid charges.
What about longer distance travel?
For longer distance travel download the PlugShare app and be sure to plan your trip accordingly. Note that the heat, cold, speed, and A/C all contribute to draining the battery so factor this into the projected range. Awesome car and a definite head turner but not meant for long distance. Finding charging stations was not hard at all. And yes, the super charge stations are the most beneficial. We enjoyed our ride and will do it again sometime soon enough. Enjoyable, friendly and very helpful host at 6:00am. Very responsive and communicated as soon as a message is sent. Amazing customer service as well as car.
