Description

BRAND NEW, 2020 Toyota Prius Prime “lift-back.” Will get up to 130 miles per gallon when charged up, and 640 miles total from 1 tank of gas! This is the closest thing to a Tesla at a fraction of the cost. It is the most fuel efficient Prius to date and will go up to 30 miles using NO gasoline at all even at highway speeds up to 70MPH. After those 30 electric miles are used up, it switches to a combination of gasoline & battery just like a regular Prius and will still get 58-75mpg, depending on your driving style. I will have it charged up for you and the charge cord will be in the trunk if you wish to charge it again if you have the time or are on a trip etc. Free XM Sirius Satellite radio, seats 5 people, ice cold A/C, heated seats, back up camera and plenty of safety features like pre-collision & lane departure warnings, has intelligent cruise control, very clean, rides and handles nice and is quiet.

Parking details

If you are driving your own vehicle to pick up mine, you can park anywhere on the street below and you will see my car at the top end. My complex has assigned parking w/ only 2 spots per condo so you that’s why you’ll need to park on the street. The street is quiet with plenty of open spaces in a good neighborhood so no worries.

Guidelines

- No smoking - Pets on a case by case basis (let me know what’s up and we can figure it out) - You do not need to recharge the vehicle before returning it - Bring your own EZ PASS as many of the tolls are now cashless & sent by mail via license plate photography to the vehicle owner (me) which wouldn’t be good :-)

Faqs

  • Do I have to/need to charge it?

NO! Charging it is up to you! A full charge will take about 6 hours and provide you with 25-30 all electric miles. Once those miles are used up, the vehicle becomes like a regular Prius and runs on both gasoline and the battery.

  • How do I charge it?

Push gently on the small rear passenger side panel, it will open and you’ll see the charge port. The 20 foot charge cord will be in the trunk and can be plugged into any household outlet; then just plug the blue charger into the port after you pull off the plastic covering. Please keep in mind a new charge cord from Toyota is $400.00 to replace, so please be careful if/when you use it.

  • How do I know when it’s charging?

On the passenger side of the dash board just under the windshield are 3 small lights. Once the charge cord is plugged in correctly 1 light will begin to flash, then stay on as the next one flashes, and the second will stay on as the third light flashes. Once they stop flashing the battery has been charged. Again, you don’t have to charge it unless you want the added benefit of 25-30 all electric miles.

  • Do I need to unplug the cord as soon as it’s fully charged?

No. After the battery is fully charged it shuts off automatically. Just disconnect and place it back in the trunk whenever you are ready to drive. As a precaution, the vehicle will not start if the charge port door is open so be sure to close everything up.
