I recently rented a Tesla from Shahadat, and overall, I had a mixed experience. Initially, communication was smooth and encouraging, and I was really pleased with how accommodating and flexible Shahadat seemed. The car itself was good– clean, in good condition, and a joy to drive. However, the logistics surrounding the drop-off and pick-up became an issue. We had agreed to an additional £20 charge for a drop-off in North West london, which I was happy to accept. But last-minute changes and unclear communication ended up leaving me out of pocket by £80. While Shahadat did apologise for the confusion, the refund offered was only £15, which didn’t fully cover the extra costs I had to absorb due to these miscommunications. The situation left me feeling that the original terms weren’t fully honoured. While the car was good and the early interactions were promising, I believe there are probably more reliable Tesla owners out there when it comes to clear, consistent communication and sticking to agreed-upon terms. If you decide to rent from Shahadat, I’d recommend double-checking all the logistics to avoid any unexpected surprises.
