The car will be parked in the lot behind the former Scotiabank at 3480 Dutch Village road (corner of Dutch Village and Rosedale Ave). Unless otherwise communicated, the key will be in a lockbox for self-checkin. I’ll send all pickup details before your arrival.

• Can I book delivery with different pickup and dropoff locations?

  Yes, however you have to book initially with both pickup and dropoff at the same location. Once the trip has started, you can modify the booking to change the dropoff location. The price will automatically adjust to the average of both.

• Can I bring pets?

  Yes, pets are allowed. There will be additional cleaning fees for fur/hair or other messes, however. Please vacuum the car before returning if there is pet hair/fur.

• Do I have to charge the Prius?

  No. It is a conventional hybrid, meaning the engine is assisted with an electric motor. The battery is charged through regenerative braking. You can travel at low speed on the hybrid battery alone, when fully charged, but the engine will kick in at roadway speeds.

• Can you provide a child/booster seat?

  No, you must bring your own. This is because of the liability associated with providing a child safety device.

• Why is airport delivery so expensive?

  In February 2023, Turo reached an agreement with Halifax Stanfield International Airport (YHZ) allowing airport deliveries to continue in exchange for a 10% fee. My delivery fee is $115 round trip, but the airport fee is added to this based on your total trip cost. If you wish to have the vehicle delivered to one of the airport hotels, you will only pay for delivery and not the airport fee.
