loved the model x design although the battery life/prediction was lacking. We lost 45miles driving 31 for example. The a/c might have caused this cause it was louder than car's radio even when weather was only 85 outside. We have 4 ppl and a infant with 4 checked bags. They only uber us a Prius at the first time. Been waiting for 20mins finally got a van, we

Terrible. I had to return the car as soon as I got it home and then Turo charged me $264 for my trouble. I called the rental agent immediately to say I needed to return the car due to its tiny, 90-mile range. The owner agreed. I discovered the short range during my 31-mile drive home. I considered re-planning my trip based on the location of superchargers and one-hour recharging. My partner said no way! It would be horrible to spend the weekend as slaves to this car. I was forced to change and delay my trip. After I decided to not ruin my trip with this car, I had the chore of returning it and getting a replacement. I opted for a new 2019 Ford Flex from Budget with 300 miles on the odometer for less than the Turo Tesla and four times the range. The $264 penalty is not acceptable but appealing to the owner was fruitless and I will have to fight Turo about it. The owner assures me it’s normal for the mileage display to be very misleading on Tesla X’s. Picture a car that only holds a third of a small tank of gas, where the gas gauge reads full when it’s only a third, then runs out of gas when the gauge says there’s a quarter tank left, no one tells you, and they charge you for not wanting to keep driving it for the next four days. To be fair, the car was clean, Tesloop and Apryl were very nice to work with, reasonably easy to reach and get response, and they didn't make matters worse. I suggest in the future they fully explain to renters the limited range, how to make sense of the display, and the exact location of local superchargers.
