Super sketch pickup and return the guy Emilio charged us $40 for NOTHING, he said he would give us an extra driver and 10% insurance liability but this was already included in our purchase for the car... also make sure you know the car is manual and not automatic. Thankfully my boyfriend knew how to drive stick. The car was fine but the pickup was super sketch and shady. They took pictures of my bfs credit card when they already charged him which made no sense also they said the deposit is $500 but its actually $534.

Great car service. They picked us and took us to the car rental place, and when we returned the car, they gave us a ride back to our hotel for free.

We have used Premier a number of times now and for the most part, things usually go well. Although they do warn that you may not get the “exact” car, I’m yet to actually receive the “exact” car I’ve booked. I do always get something similar - just not the exact one. This isn’t really a problem as the car provides what I need for my journey but if you’re looking for a specific colour or finite features, expect subtle differences when you arrive. This last trip was a bit different though in that we had a flat tire on our way back to the airport. The trip is 3 1/2 hours from where we stay and 95% of that journey is off-grid with little to no services on route. Not a biggie but I was literally in the middle of nowhere, with no cell service, and a surprise slice in the side of the spare tire which we didn’t notice as it was face down in the trunk when we first received the car. The slice was definitely already there as it had been marked with yellow crayon (which is how we did notice it). It caused us to drive much slower but in the end, did get us back to the airport which I’m very grateful for as we’d have been completely screwed had this not been the case. This said, I did have to pay for the flat tire (approx $100 CDN) but had to justify why I wouldn’t pay for the spare - that part put me off a bit but so far so good. I do like Premier’s service and will continue to use them but this time, a lesson was learned... I’ll be more thorough on the walk-around and will take more pictures in the future. None of this is meant as a gripe or as discontent but from a cautionary perspective, I hope this review helps someone else with their future rental.
