Paul and I made arrangements for his vehicle a week before my trip. His communication was good and we settled on an airport delivery at a $90 fee. My flight was delayed 30 mins and I was at the pickup location within 40 mins. I communicated my delay to him before take off and apologized it was out of my control. As a result of being late, Paul canceled my reservation and offered no solution (ie a later pick up or change of pickup location). I understand the Turo community is based on on-time arrivals and a mutual respect for each other’s time, but being left at the curb with a canceled reservation put me in a tough place and Paul’s communication was challenging at that point. After speaking to Turo extensively I was reimbursed, but not for my delivery fee. I can’t say for sure if Paul is a good renter or not, but I can say... don’t be late, even if your flying.
