About Alexander

I'm a tech guy who was in IT for quite some years. Still in the space, but love cars and driving. Figured Turo is a great place to help others enjoy my cars, as well! So here's to helping people enjoy the wonders of the outdoors in Colorado' weather and scenery, one person at a time. :)

The good: Price: it’s perfect and reasonable for the infinity crossover that it is. Gas efficiency is also great so there are positives there. Parking garage: conveniently located, waited less than 3 minutes for the shuttle, free popcorn and hot chocolate in the parking lot.... great. Hassle free rental: they have onsite car wash so if you maintain the inside of the car clear, you’re good to go. no need to get a car washed before you drop it off. The bad: The car: if you’re staying in denver or relatively flat highways, ignore the rest and consider renting the car. it’ll do you good. if you’re driving on the i-70 into the mountains reconsider this choice. When driving uphill the car engine would stall at 60 MPH (speed limit is 65 - 75 depending on the area) and there are many times when i would floor it and it stayed at 60 (this is with the “snow” feature off fyi). On a road where trailers go faster than 60, this car becomes a danger if you can’t change lanes and need to accelerate. When i picked up the car it needed an oil change, but the lack of a new oil change won’t stall an engine at 60 MPH. I would have to pump the accelerator and sometimes it would start to pick up and go over 60 MPH, that’s sometimes. This leads me to my second complaint.. Communication: Alex isn’t an individual person. So when i was having issues with the car and reached out to see if there was a setting or something i had to change that was stalling the car. Never heard back. Why? Because if you’re renting through Alex you have to type in “URGENT” to get someone to answer you. That’s super shitty that whoever runs this account would leave you out to dry like that. The price, the garage, and the “hassle free” renting all gives this car a two star rating. If it weren’t for that, i’d give it 1.

Alex was awesome to rent from and made pick up and drop off a breeze! I would rent from him again.
