We flew into LAX and I received a text as my plane landed at 11:02 set to pick up the van at 11am...that his wife wrecked the van. There was damage to the drivers side of the car. So embarrassingly we had to show up for business meetings in a wrecked car...If he would of told me about it when it happened the night before I could of made arrangements for another vehicle not as I’m getting off my plane and headed to pick up the van. Did not offer me any discounts.... many of the electronics did not work either. The door latch on the hatch. And the powder buttons for the lift gate or the buttons on the remote. I just got scammed out of paying for his deductible to get his car fixed. What a joke

Owner is very attentive and kept in touch through two day rental. Car has many scratches and dents on the outside but well kept on the inside. Was looking forward to being picked up and handed the car at the airport in LAX. Unfortunately that is not the case with Turo. Like any other rental company they make you take the shuttle of a nearby Hotel and you pick up your car at the turo lot. This involves taking your bags and kids in the shuttle and then repacking when you get the car; just like any other rental company which SUCKS. If they would have disclosed this before my rental I would probably rented from a regular car company with a brand new car.
