Pro tip: take pictures of everything, including the odometer, and verify beginning mileage through the app messaging before leaving. I used this van for a day trip to Hamilton Pool. It was nice, big, and had lots of extras. Pickup was fairly easy also. The gas tank was about 3/4 full but that was ok enough for our trip. Kaleem did ask me if I had purchased the additional insurance, which I did, and asked it I had used Toro before. He then commented on someone not wanting to pay for extra mileage. This should have been a red flag. The trip went fine and I was happy enough with the car. Drop off seemed to be ok also except he was not there. I think his wife accepted the return. Fast forward to an hour later and I receive a reimbursement request for additional molar. The car comes with 100 miles for one day and the owner claimed I drove 188 miles. I actually drove less than 90 miles total. We went through Toro to resolve the matter after he called me a liar about the mileage and my photographs. While the van was useful and mostly clean, I would be careful renting from this person again. Make sure you take all the pictures you think you’ll need and verify, with text evidence, mileage, gas levels, and anything else you can think of.
