My SL2 is "11 years young" but has is reliable and runs well.
You will find the key in the slot above the "ash tray." At the end of the ride, remove the key from the ignition and return it there--in safe keeping for the next person. Also, please roll up all windows back (all the way), and lock the car.
*Replace fuel you've taken at the end of your trip, please.*
*Note: [Please do NOT place items on Top of the car at any time. It easily scratches the paint finish. If you scratch it in a parking lot, etc., please let me know so we can get it fixed asap.]
Finally, please push the seat back a bit again if you can, so I can get my long legs in the car. Please do take empty bottles and trash with you.
Finally, take all belongings home with you. (I regularly find all kinds of items left behind by drivers.)
I appreciate how the Turo model supports the community while potentially reducing the number of cars on the road. So please rent my car.
Most of the time, you'll find my SL2 ready for the taking throughout the week. I'd really like it to be returned to my space in front of my garage door on Lake St. when possible. So please do return it here whenever there is a free space here. Thanks for your attention.

What can I say, the Eco is truly reliable and easy to drive around the city. Thank you for being so accommodating and having a clean car.
Loved the option of renting a car so close to my house. The car was exactly where it said it would be and I was able to unlock easily with my phone and start driving immediately. I sort of wished the car was more updated (ie automatic locks, etc) but it was my first time using this service so now I know. Returning was also easy (minus the traffic) but all in all, I would definitely use this service/car again!
Eckhart was really helpful with my first rental from Turo. He was really responsive to my questions, as my phone was stolen and that presented a few issues with the text-messaging unlock. But Eckhart offered solutions and help, and decreased my stress ten-fold. I ended up getting another phone and using the text-service — which is awesome! I love Turo and its modern, make-your-life-easy approach to rental cars. Eckhart's Saturn did just the trick too, was zippy enough and good on gas.
Great car. I enjoyed riding it around town and getting my errands done. Super easy to use, not very complicated and awesome on gas! It could use done cleaning. Definitely stood out with all of the bumper stickers. It's a little on the old and used side though, which is the only reason I didn't give it a 5 Star. It was hard to find parking when I returned it and I was almost late. I would however, glad fully rent again though! Thanks for the use of your car.
Front seat is shot. Car runs fine. I rented it for the sake of time - who wants to stand around for 20 minutes at Enterprise while they check you out. It was an early morning rental and I needed to do something right then and there. If my urgency repeats itself, I will consider renting it again, but I wasn't really very happy with the car due to the front seat.
Easy to pickup and runs fine. Interior is very cluttered and worn out with many missing vent pieces. It also has a funky odor. I've driven other older Turo vehicles that were in much better condition. Would use again only in a pinch, lots of other nearby choices.
This car is definitely showing its age, but it got us where we needed to go with no problems. Would've appreciated a little less trash/clutter inside. Also I had some trouble finding the key. Look in the slot below the radio.
talk about a nice guy,Eckhart was one ya just dont see coming. Eco-Saturn did the job for me,sorry it took me so long to review, maybe just didnt want it to be true. thanks again the pleasure was all mine, and will gladly pick again!

While on the old side, the car drives well and is worth the price. I'm not sure if this was just me, but I was unable to get the drivers seat to move forward from a very far-back position. Someone shorter than me (5'9'') will have a difficult time reaching the pedals unless this is fixed. The passenger seat adjusted fine.
The car doesn't look like much, and it definitely has an old car smell. That said, it drives surprisingly well, pretty pleasant drive through the SF and even on the highways. The reverse gear has a bit of a jump to it, but overall not a bad drive. Gets the job done, and instant reservation is super useful!
This car was parked exactly where it was supposed to be and was pretty easy to return at around 8 pm. It does have a street parking permit so that made it much easier. The owner was very responsive and answered the call right away when I needed to clarify that it had a permit upon return.
The car itself is a beater. Not very clean, but not incredibly dirty either. Smells like old car. Doesn't drive very well. But, it gets you from point a to point b and is perfectly useful to get things done. Could stand to be a bit cheaper given the condition of the car. Having instant reservation access is key.
One final thing: there was a poster/advertisement for Turo posted in the back left passenger window, perfectly covering the blind spot. Not a safe place for a big piece of paper! I didn't know it was there until I was trying to merge on the highway and couldn't see a thing. t appreciate promoting Turo because it's awesome, but maybe a magnet on the side of the car would be better.
I always have a great experience renting this car. It is down the street from my apartment, easily accessed, drives well, and is easy to return back to it's location. I love that I can lock and unlock this car through my phone, rather than trying to coordinate times to meet with the owner to get or drop off the keys. This is not the cleanest rental car, but that is what is wonderful about this Turo...you borrow a neighbors car not a privately owned agency car.
Overall, I enjoy renting this car, and would do so more often if it were in my price range.
Great car for the price. I had a few questions before starting the trip that the owner quickly answered. The only difficulty I had was finding parking in the area the car needed to be returned, but this was also do to returning the car on a Saturday evening in residential San Francisco.
This car as decent, and easy to drive.. but the seat was so uncomfortable!
It was surprisingly difficult to find street parking in this neighborhood, leave yourself some time to circle around the driveways.
Very nice first experience with Turo. Good, roomy, practical car. Had to pick my daughter up from vocal camp in Marin, then came back to SF to do some grocery shopping (got stuck in the Folsom Street Fair traffic, otherwise would have been back sooner! Daughter found the sights "interesting" ... lol). Nice big trunk for groceries : ) Car's a lot bigger than what I'm used to, but hey, gets way better mileage than my last car! On the way up to Marin early this a.m. I turned on the radio and got Deepak Chopra, and decided to just listen to the CD installed. Was the perfect, meditative way to drive north in the fog and drizzle ...
This car is a well loved car. It would be worth the $7/hr after a complete cleaning of the inside. (vacuum, number 1 on the list) Please be aware that the headlight switch is on the handle of the turn signal. The lights will turn on without you noticing. Double check before you leave the car!
