Mike's car drives and has 4wd, with space for skis. But the windshield has a 2 foot crack through it, and the wipers barely work. There was no wiper fluid in it, which would have helped. The oil change light is on. The car was very dirty inside. Picking the car up from long-term parking cost $32 ($8 per day, which he said he would refund down to $24) and I don't believe that was disclosed up front.

Car was filthy. There was a film so thick on the windshield that you could barely see to drive. It didn’t appear the car had been cleaned in several months if ever. It was so dirty that they had a brush inside so you could scrape the dirt out but apparently no one had ever used it and no one had ever vacuumed. I had my children sit on towels because I didn’t want them to get dirty from the seats. It got us where we needed to be to and from but that was about it. Very disappointed for the price we paid. As far as convenience, it was lacking as well. It was parked in a lot near the airport that we were not familiar with. Owner would only tell us where to find the car once we arrived and said he would remotely unlock it. We were traveling late at night with 2 small children and had never used Turo before so having more of an idea of where to go or what to do before boarding our plane would have been a lot more convenient for us. When I reached out to the owner he only referred me back to an email that gave us no indication of where to go exactly once we arrived. Upon arrival at Midnite we had to find a shuttle that took us to the lot and search the lot for the car. All of this just to get to and find the car took over an hour. I will not use this owner ever again. It was a very unpleasant experience and not worth the money. Very disappointed especially since my own son rents his car out using the same app and he was also upset someone would let their car be rented in the condition it was.
