Was polite, and there were no issues with my car upon return. He, however, does not communicate well. He wanted to extend his trip by one day, so he just submitted a whole new request, rather than an extension of his current trip. This would have left the car in his possession overnight while the car would have "technically" been returned to me. I told him minutes after the request that it was not right, and continued to let him know that he must extend the trip in order to keep the car rented. By the time it was perilously close, I got a hold of him. He said that he rents his cars out like this, outside of the time Turo has, and then he just gives/receives $20 or whatever in cash as the extra day's rental. Maybe that was okay with him to have a rental outside of Turo guidelines, but that is not how I do things when I rent my car; I need to follow their directions to ensure the extra Turo insurance coverage.
